Nil has a point here. The City team were signing a song about Sean Cox getting “battered in the streets”… fuck them. They can play it off however they want. “it was meant as in how they lost the Cl final”.. Liverpool werent battered in the streets in the CL final, sick assholes.

Really, disgusting. Fuck them.

It might be another reason for us to win the CL but Sean Cox is still at home with severe debilitating brain damage, while these cunts on a plane are singing about it because it’s anti-Liverpool?

Obviously an investigation would have to go into it and see who was part-taking but a 12 month ban for all parties is warranted. It’s bad enough to hear some sections of fans going on with this.. but the first team!!!??

I think it’s probably time to draw a line under the whole City song issue. It was clearly in bad taste and everyone’s had chance to say their piece.

I’ve no interest in censoring any topics on here but I think it’s important to draw a line under things to avoid things getting out of hand. On a general football forum, I guess that’s always a risk.

Maybe one day we’ll be able to expand to having club forums which are out of view of the general football topics but until then, I’ll kindly ask that we move on from this one now.

Personally would like Watford to win and nothing to do with recent events regarding City. I just think the idea of a team dominating domestically is unhealthy for English football. And I think most neutrals support the underdog for which Watford certainly are.

Shame the FA have bent to the wishes of the TV companies in scheduling this game for 5pm the FA Cup Final should always be a stand alone game that kicks off at 3 pm imo.

I hope it’s a great game full of wonderful football and goalmouth excitement that the FA Cup Final at Wembley deserves.

City are clearly the odds on favourites but you never know in an FA Cup Final Sunderland, Wimbledon and Wigan beat previous odds on favourites to win the Cup.

If City do go on and win it clinching the first ever Domestic treble in English football I hope they will get the acknowledgement that achievement and the football they have played in doing so deserves.
