Just seen the first half of the brighton game. So far the games been a stop start with so much diving and play being broken up.
The positives have been salah whos been holding up play and always being an oulet and threat, szobo and mac have been solid, with some good distribution. Van dijks been brilliant players like cheisa and wirtz have been running non stop… my player of the half was kerkez who is gaining confidence on the ball and trusted amongst the team. weve dominated the half and deserved the lead.
The negatives, why is it that when we score we straight away allow the opposition to get opportunities to score and wipeout all the hardwork?? Brighton had two clear cut chances to score.. clear header from a corner and then curtis slipping for joao gomez… its so frustrating. Also wirtz was once again too casual with his passing at points.. started of well and then disappeared for large parts of the first half…
Im hoping a better 2nd half awaits me.

Sorry guys, theyre days where i just cant get the time to watch the games live… thank fuck for foot replay websites.
Just seen the second half and still we seem to give opportunity after opportunity to Brighton… we dominated the game but just seem so easy to penetrate… it could hav easily been 3-3.
MOM for me was salah, he was a threat all game. Van dijk was also brilliant. Liked ngumohas introduction(shiuld have had a goal) aswell as nyoni, need to start bloodingthese youngsters to fully reach their potential. No injuries 3 goals and a clean sheet to bout. Brilliant result.
A quick mention that since salahs return we have scored in every game, 20 goals in 7 games… just goes to show what he brings to the team.

I agree we were kind a sloppy with our defending, Alison really bailed us out on a couple of occasions and BTW I don´t know if I would watch a replay of us playing knowing what the result was.

I actually enjoy it, i dont watch much sport or tv these days, but like most on here.. beloved LFC is our passion!
The other point for watching replays is to rewind and see how each player performed, how our defence was ripped apart, do the stats add up… ie when Curtis slipped for joao gomezs chance, konate was drawn out of defence and salah and wirtz at fault for not following their men or defending their zones. I also argued recently that wirtz’ passing was brutal, yet ginger gave me the stats 82% pass completion rate… but sometimes the stats dont add up. I watched the game about 3 times and up until wirtzs goal he was poor (bit like keitas stats)!
