Out possessed and out shot by a Championship side at home was a reminder to Arteta of the task he has but to his and Arsenal’s credit they turned it around in the second half but how Leeds must rue the chances they spurned in the first half.
Lacazette was fortunate not to get a red card though.7th January 2020 at 8:46 am #57929
well, hell of game, Leeds were fantastic in the first half and could and should have had it sown up
referee was poor, Xhaka was a walking foul and got no cards, Laca kicked out and could have seen red, game of two halves, what i did like after was the change in the second half both tactically and in effort, Arteta spoke well after the game and you could tell he wasnt happy and glad to hear the arsenal players say he shouted at them, seemed to work
long way to go but a month ago we would have lost that….small steps7th January 2020 at 9:50 am #57930
Stevo, “long way to go but a month ago we would have lost that”.
Spot on Stevo and the big plus from last night’s game for Arsenal was the reaction Arteta got from the players in the 2nd half which bodes well for the future.7th January 2020 at 9:53 am #579317th January 2020 at 11:22 am #57934
Last nights game.
Lacasette should have had a red card. No question. On balance, Leeds will be disappointed. They should have done better with their chances.
Tonights game. Interesting to see what teams are put out. I hope we see sense and play our strongest team to include Ederson. I dont think Aguero is fit though…pity.7th January 2020 at 7:07 pm #57957

Almost forgot there was a reply tonight… do I watch it? 50-50 at the moment… I think it will basically come down to discovering if I have anything else better to do…14th January 2020 at 1:29 pm #60526
Spurs to go through.
United v Wolves is harder to call and it’s a game they could do without with Liverpool away on Sunday but I think United will squeeze through ahead of the Anfield game.14th January 2020 at 1:33 pm #6052714th January 2020 at 1:47 pm #60529
Wouldn’t beat on it puppy, the more than had the measure of us at their place, and I fully expect them to set up the same, why wouldn’t they?
Wouldn’t be at surprised to see a 1-0 to Middlesbuorgh headline in the morning….
I wonder which game would be on my box, I’m guessing Wolves…14th January 2020 at 1:50 pm #60530

Neither United or Wolves will want this game to go to extra time.15th January 2020 at 9:26 pm #60640
Rashford having to going off with a back injury makes him potentially doubtful for the Liverpool game?
