Why the fuck are United fans always chanting for the manager btw? Oleβs at the fucking wheel, Amorim and now Carrickβs actually nothing like Scholes. Itβs fucking embarrassing.

23rd February 2026 at 10:27 pm #240060It was obvious well beforehand just what sort of a game it was going to be tonight so not surprised in the slightest to hear it was a low quality match, but the three points are absolutely massive tonight, especially after both Villa and Chelsea slipped up.
The goal we did score was quality and great to see Sesko scoring again especially after that clueless tit @happy was on his case every fucking week earlier in the season whenever he missed any sort of a chance. I always said that playing up top under that absolute fucking clown Amorim with his negative system and tactics was a thankless task, and it’s absolutely no coincidence for me that the goals are flowing for Sesko now that the hopeless fucker has gone.
Agree about these new Arsenal type corner tactics that teams like Everton and others are now employing far too often. It’s getting more and more like an NFL scrimmage at corners now than anything else, and you wonder whether some sort of rule change is going to be needed at some point in the not too distant future to put a stop to this nonsense._____________________________

23rd February 2026 at 10:37 pm #240066Happy wanted Watkins over Sesko just like his mate Amorim .. Clueless buggers..
I do agree about revamping the whole midfield and yes Bruno included because games like today are when he is supposed to pull the team but instead he was worse than both Casemiro and Mainoo who were shambolic

24th February 2026 at 7:36 am #240075It was more about Sesko missing sitters when he first started playing for us than any lack of service. Even last night he should have had a second goal really if weβre being honest. So the criticism was merited at the time but heβs on fire now and surely a shoe in to start from now on.
Cunhaβs pass to Mbeumo for the goal just gets better every time you see it!

24th February 2026 at 8:02 am #240077Nah mate you had written him and Lammens off before they even made an appearance.. your preference was for Watkins and old man Martinez from Villa.. and if you say Sesko was getting constant Service under Amorim you are one deluded individual although i wont be surprised; also i do admit he did miss some sitters at the beginning but thats a far cry from getting regular service as a No.9 under Amorim.

24th February 2026 at 8:19 am #240079@happy – Coming from a guy who championed Phil Jones for what seemed like a fucking lifetime, even to the point that you were still insisting that he would come good once he “settled down a bit”, even though he was born and brought up no more than 40 miles from OT and had already been at the club for 5 fucking years at the time you’re criticism of Sesko was in no way justified. Then we have the totally illogical refusal to accept that Onana was the worst goalkeeper in living memory until the sheer weight of evidence became totally irrefutable.
Fact is, Sesko did miss a few chances, so does every forward that’s ever played the game but when the service is so poor that you know you are literally going to get just one decent chance per game at the most it makes life very difficult for a striker to build his confidence, especially given his age and inexperience and the pressure of playing up front for Manchester United, simple as that._____________________________

24th February 2026 at 8:27 am #240081Blacky – Yep, so that’s proof that i don’t write players off instantly isn’t it?! Which is why i was saying Dee was talking absolute bollocks – which should surprise no one at this stage!
As for Onana even the great Edwin Van Der Saar thinks he’s a top keeper!!! I don’t any more though.
And i think I’ve said all i need to say about Phil Jones! πWhat about our terrible summer signings though mate? All 3 of them combining for a fantastic goal last night. Perhaps the transfer business wasn’t as bad as you made out after all?!

24th February 2026 at 8:36 am #240082Thought Cunha worked his bollocks off last night which made up for the fact that he found it difficult to create (goal apart). Mbeumo, on the other hand, was shite all night, apart from that burst of second quickest player in the PL pace for the goal.

24th February 2026 at 9:23 am #240083Watched the match last night, although at times I was so bored and frustrated I could easily have turned it off. But, despite some pretty poor performances at the offensive end, defensively I thought Utd were superb. Once they got back into defensive shape, I thought the team defended well as a unit. Maguire was immense again, and wasn’t it good to see Yoro stand his ground at Everton corners. And I agree with Blacky, the powers that be have got to look at the new trend in corners, it’s just a scuffle now. That’s not football. But Utd were really resilient, how many corners did they defend, and credit to Lammens who came and punched and caught whenever he could.
The goal was superb from start to finish, the pace Sesko showed was phenomenal. But, offensively, that was about all we got from Mbeumo and Cunha last night, and to be honest, despite some goals and flashes in recent weeks, they seem to struggle when bullied and when they face a tight disciplined defence which Everton showed last night. In fact, Utd’s front 4, Cunha, Mbeumo, Amad and Bruno were all off it last night, and didn’t have the muscle to hold the ball at all. And I don’t think Mbeumo really has the pace to be a winger. Only Amad has real pace and he was out of sorts completely last night. I don’t think any of those 4 helped themselves by trying to hold on to the ball for too long, but maybe that is because the options weren’t there. To play one touch football, your team mates have to be ready to receive the ball from you, before you have taken it, so you have an option there immediately. For me, they didn’t seem to be in that mindset last night.
Is this the right time to play Sesko from the start though? I’m not sure, but he played the majority of the second half, so the next step is probably to be in the starting 11. And I’m afraid I’d drop Mbeumo. What I would say for him and Sesko and Amad is. their defensive work was excellent though, but wouldn’t it be nice if Utd could actually take the initiative in matches. The goal was a pure breakaway and against teams like Everton, those moments don’t come very often. But, we’re in 4th, we’re above Chelsea and Liverpool, so we have to be fair and say progress has been made. But my question there is, how. Other than the obvious, a new manager, what has been the change (or changes) that have brought about the transformation? Thoughts?_____________________________

24th February 2026 at 9:36 am #240084As to the corners, in GAA there’s a square, equivalent to the six yard box. Players are not allowed to enter the ‘square’ until the ball does, even in the air. That might be a way to fix it, that attackers and defenders can’t be in the six yard box until the ball enters it. Only the keeper is allowed in there, players would have to time their runs perfectly. .

24th February 2026 at 10:18 am #240085Oh Happy if i scour through the threads on transfers i can pull up your criticisms for both Sesko and Lammens also your obvious preferences for Watkins and Martinez β¦ in previous games you had clearly slated Sesko and reiterated Watkins would be better .. until recently you also said we needed a number 1 as Lammens isnβt wat we needβ¦ despite your penchant to see the best in overrated waste of players you had slated these two signings so donβt twist n back track now mate !!!

24th February 2026 at 10:21 am #240086I did say thereβs a player in both Yoro and heaven, both are young for CB and with game time will get better. Having Maguire in the side does help and he is an expert at defending the Box. It was also pleasant to see Cunha dig in deep, stay out wide and help lardy luke on that flank.. As for Amad he needs to go sit n study other wonderful left footed wingers and how they impact games while cutting in from that right flankβ¦ his goals and assists numbers are poor..

24th February 2026 at 10:27 am #240087Both Cunha and Mbeumo were very poor last night, one cost Β£65m the other Β£72m.And both came from fellow PL teams, so no excuses not to perform every week, whereas Sesko is new to the league and needs time to adjust to the demands of a new league, the most competitive in the world! Amad and Mainoo were completely missing, and Bruno was just shouting and screaming.
The most important thing is the win, and we are only 3 pts behind Villa in 3rd._____________________________

24th February 2026 at 11:13 am #240091@happy – That wasn’t the point I was making as well you know, you were chipping away at Sesko right from day one whereas the list of so many useless fuckers we’ve had stinking out the shirt that were allowed years and years of shite performances by you without a single word of criticism is endless.
I could list many more utter failures that you championed, but it would no doubt overload this site. It wasn’t just Jones and Onana, I also distinctly remember you ‘informing’ us all that little old straw legs himself Juan Mata was better than David Silva at one point!!ππππ_____________________________

24th February 2026 at 11:29 am #240093@Trapper – The root cause of everything was Amorim mate, his pygmy mentality, stubbornness, arrogance and his tactical and in game unawareness that my 9 year old grandson would be ashamed of. Carrick has obviously got the players onside, and the lack of extra cup fixtures is a big advantage for us, but I said from the outset that the appointment of Steve Holland was a good move as well.

24th February 2026 at 12:14 pm #240094Blacky – Yeah that was at the stage where Mata and Silva had almost identical goals and assists stats. Mata then dropped off massively and Silva got better with age.
But as Neville said earlier Sesko hasn’t been convincing since joining and for Β£74m or whatever it was you expect more from players. But he’s in very good form now and looks like his fitness levels are fully up to speed, his finishing has improved massively as well. It’s called saying what you see mate. At the beginning he was shite and now he’s not. Based on form and progress views can be changed over time. So if someone starts off shite you can say so. But then when they improve you can also say that.
Unlike you whereby even if Mbeumo scores 30 goals for us you wouldn’t be able to praise him because you were against his signing from the start – so you have to stick to that narrative now for the rest of time for some reason!Dee – Yes there were discussions at the beginning of the season as to whether we needed up and coming players or established premier league players to take us forward. That’s the decision making criteria that the club went through. Amorim believed we needed ready made PL players for key positions like Watkins up front and Martinez in goal. Whereas the club opted for potential in Sesko and Lammens. When that wasn’t really working out initially there were conversations about whether we had done the right thing. Par for the course really!
