semi disaster with Italy out the world same as either Brazil, Germany, Argentine and yes even England not taking part, the system of world wide participation as opposed to the strength vs. strength seems unfair as you do not have the best teams competing for the biggest prize in sport.

Interesting article in one of the rags about Southgate aiming for a 3-5-1-1 system but the “injuries” this weekend meant he couldn’t really try it as about 6 of his “penciled-in” players for this system pulled a sicky.
As for who goes, don’t understand why anybody even mentions Vardy one little bit, has a very average record in a system that’s built for him, and which is nothing like international football at all. Problem with Wilshire is basically his injury record (and I think if he keeps his upward curve, Dinksy Winksy will nab that spot anyway!)
My biggest concern is GK… Hart is looking very shaky at West Ham already this season, I reckon his confidence is going to be shot by summer…

Chuky….at least Hart is getting good practise in with that W. Ham defence being what it is at the moment. I think Moyes will tighten it up though
