Chelsea was definitly one of the responsible clubs when it comes to the insane wages and transfer fees in football today. No doubt about that. So with that in mind it’s understandable if Chelsea get a bit of stick when they complain about not having the financial strength to compete for a certain player.
In general clubs like the Oil Firm and Manchester United shouldn’t really complain about anything or act as if finances are a problem. 99% of the clubs out there would love to have their “problems”

And I hope that Banjo returns.

srd, except if you read Conte’s actual quotes he didn’t complain about anything he merely answered the questions factually and I doubt anyone can objectively dispute the answers he gave.

This has been done to death now and has caused enough problems probably best left there now.

srd, Conte was asked the questions in a press conference and the answers he gave below were consistent to the consensus view on here re Sanchez and how the Manchester clubs might dominate going forwards.

Was he complaining or whinging as he’s been accused of on here I’m not sure he was but if you think he was that’s your opinion mate and your entitled to it.

“In this moment there are two teams in the League who are at the top and they will stay there, the others have to fight for a place in the CL. These two teams are very strong already and they want to invest. These two big club’s can become seriously dangerous for other teams in the world. ”

On the Sanchez transfer Conte said ” We never were in the race,ever. Only one or two clubs can pay this type of salary. United can do it and they paid it.

Jim, not really mate if you look at Chelsea’s financial results for the fy ending 30/06 Chelsea made a £15m profit and the holding company Fordstam made a £14m loss due to new Stadium costs that with FFP obviously restricts what you can spend and what you can pay and certainly rules the likes of Sanchez out.

This Summer Chelsea will be big spenders though with circa £300m to spend from the sale of Hazard and Courtois.?

I do feel things a lot of the time are taken too far here. I don’t know whether it’s down to a ‘Big Brother’ too close of a knit environment and not enough other people in essence to be able to interact with.

I noticed in that ‘Prediction Table’ how many other names attached in which I’ve never seen not a single contribution.

I know all about mental health and depression as it has effected my family tragically in August when my brother died

If you are down or depressed go and see someone , talk to your family as you seem to bring up issues in life a lot on forums.

Nil, you really could do with taking a leaf out of Sean’s book and enjoying the forum for what it is and stop complaining about the setup, the posters, the club pages etc.
