Sean, genuinely, no idea… dont think they’ll be the last. Gate income is massive loss to some clubs.

Adlab, Did you take the red or blue pill to be back here? welcome back to the land of cyber living.

its a slightly shadier version of what the Glazers did 😉

Please don’t remind me of the Glazer takeover. A club which went from being debt free to over £800m in debt in a matter of seconds, yet after £1.2b of interest payments, are still over £400m in debt.

Fit and proper, Newcastle fans be wary when you next call for the managers head – most likely In the centre circle at half time as a deterrent to any incoming manager. Kids will love it, be like a violent video game. … 😉 fit and proper executions using a long sword and executioner flown in from Saudi cant wait…

Feel for Wigan…. what a mess.

I think the ‘fit & proper person’ test has always consisted of just one question:

Can you afford to buy the club?

“The PGA of America are reportedly set to announce the 2020 Ryder cup will be postponed at some point today. There has been plenty of speculation regarding whether the 2020 Ryder Cup would go ahead as planned due to the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.

The PGA Tour restarted last month but there has been no spectators allowed on to the courses due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19.

It has already been confirmed that the PGA Championship, now scheduled to be the first major of the year from August 3-9, will go ahead with no fans.

For the Ryder Cup though, a number of golfers have insisted the biennial competition wouldn’t be able to follow a similar route.

British golfer Andrey ‘Beef’ Johnston’ told Express Sport last month that the Ryder Cup wouldn’t be the same without fans.” D.Express 8/07

Shame but I agree with Beef.

reading about a lot of flair ups and increase in the virus world wide yet it hardly seems to be news any more…..how quick a species can adapt to something and it become the “norm”

We are far from clear of the virus yet and the acts of stupidity we have been witnessing will only prolong the end game. There will be no money left in pot for any more bail-outs either if the second wave hits us hard. It is up to people to do the right thing

Trying my best to keep upbeat as far as Life goes,

Brian, you’re spot on and it is underlyingly worrying thinking both short to long-term about the state of the economy and day-to-day living.

I’ve been fortunate since the Pandemic in March to be able to work consecutive weeks. Our area has had recently, outbreaks.

It’s highly risky and it makes me think or has made me think being at home for the past few days what life has become.

It makes me think too how grateful I that we have Football resurrected.
