They don’t care about either but the women’s game doesnt bring in enough money for them to be considered worth the risk21st May 2020 at 9:41 am #113380
Madness.21st May 2020 at 2:16 pm #113383
EFL are promoting and relegating (though not out of the league) so the Prem wilL either be a 23 team league or also relegate the bottom 3. I’m discounting not letting Leeds WBA and one other being left in limbo……Pagan21st May 2020 at 4:07 pm #113384

Luis Enrique: Spain boss says football without fans ‘sadder than dancing with your sister’21st May 2020 at 4:59 pm #113385
That’s the bloody trouble with these foreign types, they’ve obviously never been to Norwich…..Pagan21st May 2020 at 9:05 pm #11338822nd May 2020 at 9:56 am #113395
Peggy-Never mind Norwich, should take a trip to fooking Wales, and find out himself what dancing with “your sisters & mums” does to the society,lol.22nd May 2020 at 3:22 pm #113396
N`Golo Kante to refuse to play for the rest of the season???22nd May 2020 at 4:23 pm #113399
Hopefully the club will support his stance, and on the flip side it could give young Billy a good run in the side if any football is played…..Pagan22nd May 2020 at 6:34 pm #113400
Look at the effect on the “worlds richest club” of the virus (Utd of course).
Third quarter results to 31 March including one week of lockdown, LOSS of £22.8million cumulative profit £13m for 9months with April May and June to come. Debt up to £429m from £301m. Nearly half a billion pounds.
If this is the pattern for other apparently less wealthy clubs you cant be spending £100m etc on players. Its no wonder they want to play even behind closed doors and under different rules they started with. Never mind the integrity of the competition, they cant afford the loss of income.22nd May 2020 at 6:45 pm #113401
Mmm, so the “world’s richest club” is £430m in the red, which means the local kids team has £403001165 more than Manchester Utd. Maybe they should consider doing a sponsored bike ride or some bag packing at the local supermarket……Pagan23rd May 2020 at 8:14 am #113402sean the sailorParticipant426 pts
Very good interview with poch on sky sports
I always liked the way poch always speaks respectfully of people.

Hopefully back at the Lane…
Sure, he can go and play with another club for a couple of years, but once the current global situation is dealt with, the world is somewhat back to normal, the club’s finances are in full flow, and the majority of Spuds 1.0 have left, then Spuds 2.0 can begin. He’s got unfinished business.23rd May 2020 at 10:01 am #113405
I really hope this situation reboots sport in general, football especially.Utd to go bankrupt and start from 3rd Division, start fresh,no debt, and no more buying 2 of the most overrated players in the game:£89m for the Instabitch, and £80m for the Slaphead from Yorkshire, what a colossal waste of £169m!
No more waste of space & time for bunch of crap players like Shaw,Jlingz,Jones,Bailly,Mata,Matic,Smalling,Sanchez, etc, earning millions every month.A complete reset & reboot of the entire game.23rd May 2020 at 10:13 am #113406
Poch to take over Newcastle and within 5 yrs to win the PL title, after buying Bale,Messi,Kane, amd some of the worlds most talented players…..23rd May 2020 at 11:23 am #113410Chucky McChuckfaceParticipant514 pts
Completely irrelevant to the thread as a whole, but I’m trying to work out if the Emma Watson/Margot Robbie remake of BrokeBack Mountian is just an internet rumour started by somebody really bored, or…
Of course, wouldn’t be anywhere near as good as the Goosey Lucy/Buffy version, but I know which one I would prefer to watch… 😉
