So after more than 25 years at Teamtalk it looks to be the next forum. More a visitor than an active poster there but still it is going to be missed. Looking for specified Liverpool FC topics on here and glad to see some well-recognized posters.

The last time I looked earlier today, Sir Roger had the accolade of being the last ever poster. I hope that you closed the door quietly on your way out.
From what I’ve witnessed on here this week, it seems much less used than TT ever was but with the bonus of being technically sound. Nike19 seems to have been posting the majority of everything on the Liverpool pages. But obviously things will now improve as 2 become 1.

Welcome Red Herring! Just checked my own status; 7 years!
On this site alone, it’s a very small community and it’s Ed’s site who’s a Man United fan and cool 🙂
We had a little bit more extra posters for example from Man City, but we’ve not heard from them for quite some time. Sadly 2 years ago, we lost Nine and naturally his contribution.
Yeah, good sound community on here above all; known and understand each other so you guys will easily settle and add to the chat and discussion.

I’ve been on both sites the last few years. TT to talk more Liverpool specific topics and here for discussions with fans of other teams. There were a few City fans on here, Big Jim, Brian Blue and the unforgettable Adlab but they all left when these discussions decended into 115 arguments every time.
When the proper footie starts again I hope the tradition that either Nil or Chucky start a weekend fixtures thread and everyone chips in alongside their own team threads.
Utd vs Liverpool weekend could be tasty at this rate!
Edit: 7 years 10 months for me! I think one of the first but took a while to come over properly.
Edit the edit: seems 7 years 10 months was for a few of us, must of been when the site was founded.

So, just putting 2 + 2 together….. Nike19, you are Nil / Sensible from the old days? Sorry, haven’t been on here before like some of the old TT mob, so still need to find my way around. Also, hadn’t realised that TT wasn’t allowing new registrations – that may explain why there never appeared to be any new posters of late. If that was the case, then yes, it definitely had to go!

Not posted on here for about 18 months shortly after we sadly lost Nine, due to various reasons.
Good to see some of the ‘old faces’ still posting – Chucky, Nil, Alfie. Steveo, CM, Tugay, Threeps, et al.

Not much sign of the old City boys. Looking at recent posts, I’m the only one left now.

hey gjblues. Not seen Ed for about 3 weeks I think. You’d think he would need to approve all these new people or at least get an email notification? Hightown and myself have emailed him prior to TT closing but I didnt get anything back and in the past he was normally pretty quick to respond.
