Mav, and Forest have won it twice too.
Tbh I was beginning to think Chelsea would never win it after 2005, the Final in 2008 and the Semi Final in 2009 v Barca one of the best nights of my life May 19th 2012.
I never thought I would see Chelsea win a League title let alone 5 of them and to even play in the Champions League was just a pipe dream so even now 7 Semi Finals , 2 Finals and winning it in 2012 seems incredible my only regret is that night in 2012 with my two sons their Grandad wasn’t there to see it with us.
We all went to the 1994 Cup Final at Wembley and one of the Chelsea lads on the way out after United had stuffed us 4 nil said don’t worry Grandad we’ll be back to which he responded not in my lifetime we won’t but we were all together in Wembley again in 1997 to see us win it and agsin in 2000 but sadly we lost him a few months before Chelsea won the PL title he would have loved that and the Champions League win would have made them even more special too. No Chucky the good times started on April 29th 1970 standing in the Stretford End with the Chelsea hordes and all my mates for what was still probably the greatest night of my Chelsea supporting life, but winning the FA Cup again in 1997, followed by the League Cup in 1998 followed by the European CWC and the European Super Cup in the same year followed by winning the FA Cup again in 2000 were pretty enjoyable too. Great times but even greater were to follow!?

Chucky, I won’t go into what hasn’t happened at Spurs as I don’t want to make things worse but why do we have to go through all this nonsense every time both Jim and I have acknowledged both City and Chelsea’s good fortunes in acquiring the owners we did, I have always acknowledged as do all Chelsea fans the part Abramovich played in the trophies we’ve won since 2005 and if I’m not mistaken you yourself have acknowledged the fact that you would have liked to see such good fortune have come to Spurs. Yet you always end up here.Shame when we could be having some sensible footydebate!

You went there pal, just mentioned about the 2nd and 3rd best teams in London playing in the 2nd rate Euro trophy, while obviously, the best team in London are playing in the top tier trophy, you’re the one who went all sensitive and start bring up stuff that happened years ago… 🙂

Years ago? Chelsea won the CL only 6 years ago the last PL team to do so and got to the Semi Finals 4 years ago so hardly years ago and they have a very good CL record over the last circa 19 years and hopefully they’ll be back there soon. And I’ve lost count of how many times you’ve raised your supposition that Chelsea didn’t exist pre Abramovich. But Kay sera sera

Mav, I love watching the CL mate whether Chelsea are in it or not and hope all the PL Club’s do well.
I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Barca though which increased when we were living out there with a number of my Catalonian pals being Barca fans, the only time I reluctantly go against Barca is when they play Chelsea? .
