Agreed. But as the debt increases there comes a point when you either have to sell or stop buying.
You know what happens when you max out a credit card. You stop spendind until you reduce the balance. Utd’s problem is that they would be ok but for the dividends paid to the Glazers. They, by football standards are not that wealthy. The point I am making is they cant just buy who they want – unless they sell. Why do you think they were so keen to get Zlatan off the wage bill at £12m a year.
Nobody is saying they are going bust but they do not have limitless spending power as the media suggest._____________________________
