Simon Jordan lays into “moron” Jack Grealish after Man City title celebration antics
Manchester City’s title celebrations have led to Simon Jordan calling Jack Grealish a “moron”, as the drunken star aimed tongue-in-cheek digs and called out Miguel Almiron. I must admit I though Grealish went over the top and got too personal with fellow players.

Blueson…I suspect many do it as part of the comedic act in the dressing room but agree, in public it should be more respectful You could also say, we take life too seriously and humour is a safety valve. You could also say Simon Jordan is wrong signally out Grealish with his view calling a player a “moron” that cannot be right either. You cannot have it both ways Mr Jordon

Watching the match against Club America I hope Pep has a few words in Grealish ears about pursuing the Referee, he must know Referees do not change there mind often and he need to sharpen up. If that had been a EPL game he would have a Yellow as a minimum and Red as a possible. He did have a strong case for a penalty, no doubt about that but you cannot go chasing after Referees. City youngster did well but KDB and Rodri won the match

Bayern Munich match..I was impressed with the youngsters performances most of all and the much critiqued Ake who had a very good game at both ends. Grealish much improved performance, not that they have been that bad. Haaland…for what little we saw we know teams will be doubling up on him due to his presence but KDB Rodri and Bernado are the workers of this team

As I mentioned in earlier post re fixture list being announced…a complete waste of time… A ball not been kicked yet and City have announced 4 fixture changes. When will the FA and TV ever get it right, what is the point of announcing fixture list when we know they will be changed. Anybody planning around certain fixtures can forget it until the season has well started, even the , nothing is for certain. No respect for fans

It’s no problem, would be nice to win for a bit of confidence but Pep will install that in any event, only a minor trophy does not go on record as a major competition. We will still win the league. That’s the most important trophy even bigger than the CL. 👑

Blueson…..I would agree that, for me, the EPL is far more important than the CL.FA Cup second and CL third

The Charity Shield game is just that a Charity game, however, it is an important fixture and should be treated as such, maybe not as elevated as others but still an important game. I think both teams and others in the past have shown this to be so. Liverpool won yesterday because they wanted it more than us for most of the game but I am also not too disappointed with City effort, a lot of rustiness which is to be expected.

The papers now have there target headlines for the coming season. Haaland v Nunez!!!!! both can be eclipsed by others!!!

Hi Brian, I hope you are keeping well mate. There should be no comparisons between halland and Nunez. Halland is nearly the finished article. Nunez is very very raw. Needs plenty of work. Halland will score buckets of goals

I think Nunez will suit us as we cross the ball a lot.

Hi Sean, thanks for asking. I am OK at moment To morrow…possible tooth extraction Thursday cataract treatment but all is well. I cannot believe the over hype about ONE match pre season and judgements on players….these people know little about football

Liverpool were better as they have done a longer preseason. Nothing wrong with that. They are making Nunez a football god. Let’s see after a few games.

That is always the case with the media…they instigate differences between fans by hysterical comments, probably most have them have never played football….no…I do not mean a certain well paid presenter he always sits on the fence or steers the conversation to what he wants you to hear.. I have no admiration for any of them and it has nothing to do with the team I support

Last week performance continued. Good to see the young lad on the pitch for a short spell, did OK as well. Laporte may have to fight to get his place back now. Haarland kept 3 defenders busy, he does not have to score every game if he can do that, others will benefit

That was some game of football, did not do my blood pressure must good. Tale of two halves, After 10 min, City switched off but credit to Newcastle and Eddie Howe for getting tactics right, well deserved 3-1 lead. Second half we finally got our act together. Draw was probably fair result for the game
