I have no idea what to expect to night against AM., a very capable side.. I doubt it will be a full house, unlike most, City fans are allergic to Eufa competitions, I guess it is time we got over it but CL is important to players and Club but I have never been a fan, not so much about the footballing side but the corrupt organisation. Pep, I am sure would say. “we are in it, to win it”. Good luck to night then and also Liverpool, no injuries to either side so we can have a real match on Sunday

A good win against a difficult and awkward team, the return will be tough as well but providing we have the mentality we will score again and keep them out…I hope, I like defensive football but would not like to watch it every week

KDB outstanding to day, easily MotM. Good performance by City, I guess pep had Wednesday in mind by not playing Gungdogan and Mahrez and Grealish came on too late. A very competitive game and easily the best two teams in the country, in a way, it is a shame we have to meet again so soon but games have to be played

I am at a loss about City’s poor performance, a slight improvement in second half but we never had any authority in the match. Six changes was too many for a semi final, I know KDB, Laporte and possible Gungdogan needed to be rested but we could have put a better team out than that. We had no idea how to play in the first half and with a weak goalkeeper it must have been a bonus for Liverpool. I believe he should have stopped all three goals. However, Liverpool were the better team throughout and deserved to forward and good luck to them

Wouldn’t surprise me Sean. Very few places that could afford him. Mbappe looks Real Madrid bound. City I think want that finisher/striker. Still haven’t replaced Aguero yet. Haaland would very much be an adequate replacement. Still can’t believe he’s only 21. Feels like he’s been around for ages. Better get these trophies wrapped up before another period of City dominance next season 😁

Mikus…I am not convinced about Haarland, however, as you say, he is only 21 but we will have to see if he settles in the EPL. I wanted Jota before you stepped in and prefer that type of player at that level. We also need a replacement for Bernado and Fernandiho, possibly, Gungdogan, Laporte. All in discussion about moving on, Walker will be on the move sooner rather than later so, in my view we have a lot of re building to do and the money could be spent elsewhere…but this is just me..a fan…not a Manager or Buyer.I do not see City being that dominant but expect them to do well We could also still finish this season with nothing, that does not bother me other than disappointment on how the season finishes. Liverpool, I see as getting at least a Double maybe a treble ad still odds for a Quad but that maybe a step too far for any team in the modern era. Great end tp the season in prospect and next season will be a cracker

The league is cities to lose now and they won’t happen as they are just to good. I’d out my house on city not dropping a point again
If city get to the cl final they will win it after last year’s disappointment. Always happen when a team gets to the final after losing the previous one
I can see us finishing with nothing aswell. It’s just to much to take on and that’s my really pessimistic side coming out. The cl be a huge thing.
Fa cup v Chelsea is a horrible game. They lost their last two fa cup finals so be absolutely gunning for this

Brian, I’m sure Pep would want Haaland to press and work hard no doubt, and he’s not been in the Premier league yet, but very hard not to see him not delivering for you. He has 58 goals in 63 appearances for Dortmund & 15 in 17 for Norway. Would have him at Liverpool for sure, though I’d be quite happy to go for Darwin Nunez from Benfica who would be half the price.

Sean/Mikus…on current form I see Liverpool winning Double or treble, you have a very good squad to achieve that. City, I believe are just lacking a little, not sure what, but we do not appear to have that same energy and enjoyment as previous. A few good wins would help but, you know when they are playing well, but not scoring , they try too hard and it makes it worse. City, Liverpool and Chelsea will be the front runners again next season but my prediction at the beginning of the season when I stated Everton would be challenging sums up how good I am at predictions!!!!! Chelsea v Liverpool…a midfield battle, whoever wins that, wins the Cup

The only think missing Brian is a striker. The amount of balls we play in from wide positions across the six yard area and no one taking a gamble beggars belief. Hopefully the acquisition of a striker will be remedied over the next week, albeit for next season.
Would love us to win the CL or PL but that’s more in hope than expectation at present. I would not at all be surprised if Liverpool won all four; they look so strong and added to that, they are not suffering any injuries._____________________________

Makes me wonder sometimes when the media go on about strikers. Spurs with two strikers the media are crazy about but Spurs only just have over 50 goals this season, Chelsea have at least three strikers not much better and at a cost. Utd have a lot of strikers who do not score except Ronaldo. Liverpool are all strikers and top of the heap. City. no strikers close but doing Ok. Jesus is NOT a striker but you would not know it to day, his best position, Mahrez is occupying. We will get two strikers for next season, I wonder if the goals will dry up?????? It appears to me that City and Liverpool work on a team basis more and it certainly helps if you have a good Manager

To morrow, I would certainly play Jesus but I think he will go for Sterling. Not a game for Grealish, so we could effectively have Sterling and Jesus both work very hard. Cancello is a big miss as will Stones if he is not fit enough and leaving it until the last minute suggest he is not.Think City may do better in the away leg as well. We may well set up with Stones Dias and Laporte as a back three

That was some game of football. Our problem was that we lost two full backs before the game and our two CBs did not play well enough, hence Real’s 3 goals. We have won in Madrid before so that should not be the problem but our defending needs to be better because RM will have a go now they are a goal down and try and get in front early, that said, we have plenty of power up from, 4 goals against a team like RM cannot be overlooked but it should have been 7/8.. Feet back on the ground…Leeds on Saturday another kind of challenge and we may have to play some youngster for this game.
