Agree Brian, we definitely need a better performance and result; not great against Leeds or Chelsea. Seems odd to say it but we look better in Europe recently; shame that we’d agreed to walk away from it all just as we were starting to get somewhere 😉_____________________________

Yeah, good win despite the setbacks. I think he’ll change for the league cup and try and keep his best side for the PSG game. I think he’ll risk losing the league cup for a better chance against PSG. Hopefully we can do well in both.

Cityboy…I think Pep will put out a team he thinks could win the game, that will mean changes….I have no problem with that if the players coming in put in a good solid performance. We could do with a team of Zabaletas!!!!! City til I die attitude. I do not understand why some switch off when they know an opportunity for a place exists. I cannot see us winning if they turn up like Leeds and Chelsea, two winnable games thrown away.

We do not want to be giving free kicks around the box, that is what Kane/Bale will want. It should be a good game, may best team win. I think Song is City’s biggest threat.

Well deserved win and some very good performances. Spurs disappointing , appears no change in there approach to the game, defensive from k.o despite being a Final. Mahrez, not one of my favourites was outstanding and very unlucky not to score a couple at least. Can they do the same against PSG now?

Agree Brian, great performance that deserved a goal or two more. Still very happy with the 1-0 win though. Spurs just didn’t get going and I don’t know if that is down to our play or their play, probably a combination of both. Mahrez was really good, I think its been his best season with us. Foden looked class again and a great shift put in by Dino in midfield. Another trophy and no complaints from me, on to PSG, C’mon City.

Some good collective team work got us through and we did not not fall apart in the first half. Credit the team, they got there act together and should give them huge confidence for the return but Neymar and Mpaabe (?) still a big threat but we can certainly frighten there defence as well I wonder what the team will be for Crystal Palace….I think Augerro will play in that, plus Ake plus a youngster. Laporte will partner Ake i think and mendy at LB. Just guessing what Pep will do. Mahrez says he likes playing three games a week, the form he is in I do not mind and I have forgiven him now for missing that penalty at Anfield…..wait a minute….no I have not!!!!

Hey BB, I wouldn’t worry about the Palace game. I’ll be a bit annoyed if I see even one of the starting line up for PSG on Tuesday on the pitch; I want to see a complete fresh starting eleven, even the keeper, don’t care if we lose 5-0, we can afford to rest players for the vital 2nd leg against PSG and we should. We need 1 win and 2 draws maximum from our last 5 Premier League games, Pep shouldn’t risk a single player he intends to start on Tuesday night.

I would agree Mike but Pep will play some of them, maybe with the intention of subbing them early if we can get our noses in front. But we do need a physical presence at the back against Palace

Pep says…keep calm. but we do not need to be slow. We have to be careful about giving free kicks away because one thing for sure, PSG will try everytrick in the book to night, we just have to be better and please score some goals, wherever they come from. All out effort to night guys, nothing less

Great win, despite PSG niggly approach to the game, which I could not understand because they have some great players. Not going to pick a MotM because I think they all did well. I am amazed that a 36yr old can run a midfield like Fernandinho, I know his time is running out but what a wonderful player for City

I initially thought PSG might have a tad too much for City so very pleased to be wrong. In fact, it was a bit like days of yore when those dastardly foreign teams would kick, spit and generally cheat/lose it against the sturdy Brits – gives hope for future encounters! It gets a lot harder now of course and, if Chelsea win tonight, UEFA must be prevailed against to shift the final from the Ataturk Stadium. It won’t happen of course as it’s too reasonable a suggestion.

Surrey….Common sense and UEFA/FA do not go together. I never understood the logic of moving approx 60K + down to London when City/Utd played semi a few years ago..same applies to other Derby matches outside London. Maybe FA have shares in BtRail??? It was an expensive day for many and not necessary I would have been happy at Villa Park, Anfield or St James Park
