Morning Adlab, So we’ve signed Rodri, hopefully the long term replacement for Ferna, Vinny has left so we have space for another centre halve. Not sure on Maguire, he’s big but he seems pretty average to me. Foden will play more and hopefully we will see a fit KDB. Sane probably off to the Munich but after all their tapping up I wouldn’t accept anything less than 100m they are a loathesome club. Not sure if we will sign a replacement. If we got circa 120m for him and then offloaded Jesus, i dont know how much we would get but hes got to be worth 50-80m in today’s market maybe we should put a cheeky bid in for Mbappe lol.

Personally I would be sad to see a player like Sane leave the PL.

I can’t see City being prepared to let him go without they can get a high quality replacement in prior to the window closing.

If there’s a real chance of Sane going I could see Pep trying to hijack the Pepe move to Arsenal if it hasn’t already gone through or maybe moving for Zaha?

The positive though from a Chelsea perspective is that any signing of Sane by Bayern lessens the pressure on Hudson Odoi leaving Chelsea who is allegedly close to signing a new 5 year contract at Chelsea.

I really can’t understand how Bayern are allowed to get away with this obvious tapping up of players.

9-Media here in Catalonia seem to believe that City will pay the release clause for Mikel Oyarzabal of R.Sociedad,which is £70m, it appears? Could be a replacement for Leroy Sane….

Mav, yeah Oyarzabal is being written up over here too.

I think Sane is too important a player for City to leave such a gap in their squad Pep seemingly doesn’t want him to go but has said if a player is not happy he won’t stand in their way and Sane has seemingly got frustrated with not enough game time.

It looks like something might happen hopefully everyone is sensible enough to realise it’s not City spending more money merely replacing one important player with another.

Anyway how are you in Catalonia I thought you had already had a month off. I hear you’ve had a bit of rain amongst the heat.? Cheers 999

As for L.Sane,only for City and Liverpool otherwise he would be a regular starter for most teams across Europe,and I can understand why Bayern are happy & ready to pay close to £100m for him.Sane only being 23 yrs of age can potentially give them another decade,classy player!

Mav, Catalonia is a great place to revise for an exam mate and never lose sight of all the good you’re doing in the world. Bit different I know but I read more books in Catalonia than anywhere else.

As for Sane he’s a player I admire personally and is obviously worth a lot of money in a transfer market that is short on talent but high on transfer fees. Cheers buddie.999

He’s a great player no doubt but im not sure Pep considers him essential. He didnt start the last dozen or so games last season. Did we miss him, arguably no. We probably need a centre half more than we need a Sane replacement.

I suspect if Sane plays this weekend he will stay at City, if he isn’t even on the bench it means B Munich and City are talking. Adlab, weve got to play someone and Liverpool were the best of the rest in the league. Alternatively it could be Watford or Chelsea I supose.

Tbh I’ve always seen it as a bit of a glorified friendly nice to win but not a disaster if you don’t.

Importantly it’s a day out at Wembley but you lads have been there so often lately it’s almost like a second home for you.?
