agree with what most everyone is saying, i kinda like Maresca but however i do sometimes have frustrations with Marescas selections and in fact whenever those particular players in question are selected to play or come on as subs we lose points. This emphasizes the huge gap we have with our best players and the rest. We know nowadays the coach does not get much say in who comes in but I still think he should have done better with his selections where valuable points were dropped against teams we should be beating. And because of that i dont think we will finish in the top 4 or 5 this season. Hopefully im wrong.

Today Maresca has picked a line up which appears balanced and should be capable of getting a result. The first 45 minutes they have been schooled by Newcastle and down 2-0 and should be 3-0. No fight, no ambition, listless. What will the 2nd half bring? I am not confident at all that this could become a game of 2 halves. Nothing would surprise and I reckon it’ll end up 4-1. Not happy at all.

We should take no solace from achieving a draw having been 2 down at Newcastle.

It was an utterly putrid performance.

We’re so slow and predictable in our build up play. We’re dreadful under Maresca.

2nd half was a significant improvement however our 2 goals a masterclass by one man and the 2nd simply a Newcastle defensive error that Pedro just had to score and did. The number of times though we charged to the Newcastle box but for poor final passes or shocking finishing. Last week Garnacho could do little wrong and got a double, today he had numerous chances and squandered the lot. Very frustrating. Surprised recovering from 2 down away at Newcastle. Thankful for a point.
