Lots of pace and talent but there’s something missing and it’s character. They lack a John Terry or even Fwank Lampard. And for all their spending, they still don’t have that 25 goal a season striker they’ve long since needed.

Cunha is supposedly back for this, no date on Mount or Martinez’s return yet. So the team will probably be:

Altay (would prefer to see Lammens)
Yoro De Ligt Shaw
Amad Casemiro Bruno Dorgu
Mbuemo Cunha
Sesko

We have to start successfully knocking crosses into Sesko from Amad and Dorgu. Boy can leap like a gazelle. Even if he can’t get a header on goal he should be able to knock it down to Cunha and Mbuemo.

This is exactly the sort of game I expect Chelsea to lose.

Maresca will choose an incomprehensible starting lineup as with Brentford and Bayern, and provided United double up on our wingers then Chelsea will offer no attacking threat whatsoever, apart from set pieces or if your defenders really cock things up.

I’m predicting a United win and that will keep Amorim in post past Christmas.

I’d absolutely have Mount instead of Sesko right now. Cunha up top. Not saying he’s shite but its clear it will take Sesko time to get up to speed of the league. The difference between him and Haaland at the weekend wasn’t even describable. Hopefully he can have a meaningful impact off the bench. Obvious lack of legs in midfield but if the players can stick to their roles the way they did against Arsenal then they shouldn’t get overloaded in the middle.

It’s a weird as fuck line up agreed. Maguire and De Ligt in the same team, I thought we all moved on from that disaster???
Keeping Amad in that left No. 10 role which failed spectacularly last weekend. And Mazraoui who had a shocker keeps his place.
Huge risks taken now.

Is he trying to get himself sacked? If he wants to start Maguire, it should be Mazraoui at right CB. Shift Amad to wing back, move Bruno forward and play Mainoo in the middle
