Yesterday game between Inter and Barcelona, along with the 1st leg game reminded me of the good old days of football. None of this pass it in to the net and pass it from the back crap.
Not seen a game like that in years. Seems like proper football is finally back.

Fear that was a one off and football will be for a while yet this low risk tippy tappy football everyone seems to have adopted. I miss the 100mph football, the 35 yard thunderbastard shots, the mazy runs or even just swinging it into the box for a forward to throw his head at.
Back to the CL, how weird has Arteta become with his comments? Best team in the completion? Following his 2 league titles jibberish. He’s becoming a bit of a dislikable guy, although some might say he’s been that for a while.
Inter and PSG have produced some of the best football in this year’s competition so it should be a worthy final. PSG look far better without Mbappe than with him, and would be ironic if they win it this year with him watching from home.

Agree, Madrid look worse with Mbappe too. Bellingham doesn’t look the same with him in the side.
That is the problem buying players like him, you have to play around him, rather playing as a team.

What do we all think about the new “off-side” idea from Whinger? If I understand it, he wants to change it to arguably easier to decide scenerio of “only off-side if there is clear daylight between the attacker and defender”…
Certainly would make things easier to spot, and would certainly give the attackers an advantage… but I also think it would make a lot of teams set-back even more than they do now…
