Just as an FYI for anyone that didn’t watch the game, Davies didn’t dive. He got wiped out and then got accused of diving by the juve defender.

Excellent result for spurs and a brilliant performance. Got every confidence of going through now.

Earlier i made similar prediction. but i went for 1-1 scoreline though. gutted that i missed the money. but still overall i got my prediction spot on. otherwise congrats to the Spurs mob. you have done the PL proud. i hope you replicate that performance at home.

Well done Spurs, it’s never easy to play Juve away. You’ve got them by the short and curlies now though. Just need to keep it together for the return leg and yer into the quarters!

In a way I’m glad to see the PL teams doing well. We came so close to losing our 4th CL place and just imagine how much of a disaster that would be for the PL, with it’s “big 6” chemistry every season? Well, this will ward it off but my concern is that I would like to see Liverpool get the chance to play at least 1 top side from outside the PL, this season.

We’ve got to get past Porto first, who are undefeated domestically. Their league is terrible and Porto don’t seem to have the stars that they used to. . but I’m still quite nervous all the same.

If you make the quarters, you can win it. It’s only a handful of good performances away from any team once they get there. So ya, I just can’t wait for tomorrow. It’s going to be tense and exciting for me, let’s hope the players are a bit looser 😛

Really impressive from both Spurs and City. You wouldn’t bet against a PL side winning the whole thing this season would you? As Makaveli says, you get to the quarters and any of them could win it.

Hugely impressed with spurs. Brilliant performance and I was only joking about the Harry Kane dive, was just winding banjo up as me chins nerves were gone.

Brilliant from city aswell. I don’t think an English side has won in Basel for a while

proves again how much power there is in the EPL when a top 6 side outplays the chamnpions of Italy away also, want be surprised to see at least 2 EPL teams in the semis and maybe 4 in the quarters.

Brilliant turn around by Spurs which sets up a very interesting 2nd leg and Spurs will be boosted by the fact that Aurier is I believe banned for that game.?

Big away win by City puts them in the Qtr Finals and means they can rest players in the return leg.

Sure as hell not sulking about it Goldie… 🙂
Was very surprised when I saw he’s name on the team sheet. Trippier may not have the attacking attributes as Weirdy Beardy (although can whip in a mean cross given the chance), he wins hands down when it comes to defensive side of being a Full-Back (an important issue in my world) and I do think is a better all round player!

So impressed by our lot last night,I was behind the sofa after 10 mins dreading 5/6 goals but they played their way back in and we were helped by the penalty miss, all to play for.What can I say about Manchester City fecking awesome and never in doubt.
