A draw would keep us at the top, but would mean pressure for us to win our final game if we want to finish the group top.
Should Spartak win their game, that would take them up to 8 points, really a win tomorrow would pretty much seal out fate for top spot and we can take our foot off the gas pedal for our final match by resting key players, needed more for our Xmas games.
Seville are beatable, but much will depend on what line up in defence we field along with the set-up.
We’ve done brilliantly not to lose any games in this comp, so really need to get it right tomorrow and give ourselves something to feel proud of.

There are 11 Liverpool players, but the one individual who really is a rabbit in the headlights is Alberto Moreno. We are succumbing to the loud crowd and the heightened intensity.
We need a Leader on there instantly to calm and slow it down. Otherwise, we’re just going to capitulate.

Seville are our nemesis and seem to either get one over us or hold us back.
It must be more of a mentality thing. A win really would have been nice as revenge and banish all the badness ala the Europa Cup final.
Unfortunately, more than ever, there’s a big part of our DNA that spells whilst we score goals, we will concede goals against some raised spirit, grit, and determination. Even if their goals scored are ugly and scrappy, our fragilities will be exposed.
The last game is at home so that’s always a positive and we still have an opportunity to finish top, although Spartak purposely will make life hard for us. Some perspective though despite the way the second half panned out tonight: We are still top and still in a position to finish off the group stages in poll position.

Whilst you can only beat what’s in front of you we’ve had one of the easiest draws possible in the C/L yet it’s still coming down to the final game whether we even progress or not. We are a long way from the top teams & whilst I hope we get through we will get destroyed by the likes of Bayern, Real, Barca & co.
