I’ve been catching up on yesterday’s MOTD Highlights, checked the news and found this. Really awful. Happened reportedly after 6pm. Parade Celebrations were effectively tailed off and fans were dispersing themselves making their way out.

Can’t fault everything connected with organisation and security. Just sad this has occurred. Pray for absolutely nobody seriously harmed.

No excuse. I’ve viewed the online footage which hasn’t been exposed by mainstream media for obvious reasons of distress and at the least will be edited.

Really is a horrific sequence of events in just seconds. Everybody pulled together and under the circumstances did their level best to simply stop and get hold of him.

The man has been detained and is likely to be interviewed tomorrow once all the checks and research on him is thorough.

As reported from an official press conference from Mersey Police, thankfully from the 47 persons, there are no deaths. Prayers in solidarity it goes without saying and thoughts too with families connected.

The vehicle went into acceleration for whatever reason and as a result, bodies were hit and impact inflicted.

There is a child very seriously hurt from this so of course, our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family as with everybody else that’s affected. For now, that’s really all that matters.

Can’t really think about Football for now. This just should not have been allowed to happen.
