Forgot to mention Dorgu did well on that right flank and linked up well with Shaw..
If any player is pissed about Amorim leaving then he should hand in a transfer request and leave with him .. and Sesko had a good game because for once the team focused on providing for him

During any premier league again, one team will have a period of possession even if it’s only 10-15 mins after being outplayed for the rest of the game.
Our biggest problem is our mentality during those periods of play when the crowd can sense our opponents are gaining up a head of steam. We lack the mental ability to be able to sit in and just retain possession and take the sting out of the game during these periods. Until we change this we will continue to concede soft goals_____________________________

Agree about Ugarte Dee, he actually looked like a holding midfielder of decent quality. Not the answer but played well last night. Right again about Zirkzee the stroller should already be gone. And again about Casemiro, absolutely gone. Once more, agree with the several comments about Cunha, the odd flash apart, he’s been stinking the place out for weeks and he’s a greedy cunt. Finally, Martinez has played well with the ball but, as I’ve said since we signed him, is a liability at the back, which means midfield or nothing for me.

Having watched the highlights it never ceases to amaze me just how this shower of shambolic pygmies find different horrific ways to concede pathetic goals, and it’s the usual suspects who are generally at the heart of it. The first goal last night had that fucking knackerbag Casemiro just letting their guy run off him completely unopposed into acres of space which had been completely vacated by Lord Lucan aka Dalot, who is by far the worst so called full back ever to have such a lengthy career at Old Trafford, and quite what that soft shithouse Heaven was doing dangling a leg out like that instead of being square on and blocking the cross with a bit of bravery fuck knows, totally unacceptable.
Second goal had Shaw being brushed aside like a feather just like Semenyo did to him the other week, and Martinez then got sent to the shops by a guy who wasn’t even deemed good enough to start a game for relegation bound Burnley.
No surprise to hear that Cunha was anonymous again, and I’m beginning to wonder just where the fuck he is going to fit in once the AFCON is over because I’m having Amad in the team instead of him without question.
On the plus side, it’s amazing how you can get the best out of your big centre forward if you put a few crosses into the box during a game, so let’s hope he goes on a run now because the next two games are City (who are definitely beatable) and Arsenal who are probably not._____________________________

Spot on @jm i completely agree with you, i am not Ugarte’s biggest fan but the last couple of games he has impressed me especially with grit and willingness to win d ball back… i would put Casemiro on the bench because he doesn’t offer anything in d midfield and push Martinez into that position. Names like Mount, Cunha etc shouldn’t be getting starts or first option off the bench because they’re senior players; if a player can’t impact a game or even bust a gut to try then limit his minutes ffs.. the second half an unfit Bruno had to move to the right flank and move Cunha into the No.10 position because Cunha was leaving us exposed in that flank.
Also Blacky When the Afcon players are back Amad starts in that wide flank for me because even at the AfCON he has outplayed Mbeumo.. Mbeumo can battle Dorgu for that left flank; we need to stop giving minutes to players who don’t deserve it.

Yeah, I suspect that’s will happen initially but Cunha’s not going to start in a 4-2-3-1 formation if Bruno’s fit so it just shows what an absolute dogs breakfast our summer recruitment was yet again because if Mbuemo does end up playing wide left that’s yet another new position for him compared to his best days at Brentford that presumably tempted us to buy him in the first fucking place, plus Dorgu was supposedly signed to play LWB but now he’s either going to be a wide left attacker or not in the team at all!
I hear the fans were giving it out big time to Ratshit and his goons last night and about time too, hopefully there’ll be 70,000 joining in on Sunday because the guy is just an absolute fucking weapon of the highest order, simple as that._____________________________

If we need to look at clusterfucks, it all goes back to Ratcliffe and especially Berrada, it was Berrada who pushed for Amorim to be appointed even over Wilcox’s objections because of Amorim being absolutely wedded to his 3-4-3 formation. This being the Amorim who took over a year to realise that he couldn’t get players of the quality Man Utd expect, although we haven’t gotten players of that quality (apart from one, maybe two exceptions) in nearly 20 years) to actually be able to play in that formation.

Oh, and just a quick word about Mainoo when he came on. He was absolutely fucking shite as he has been the last few times I’ve seen him. United fans can bleat all they want about his lack of game time, but he looks slow, weak and not the player we once thought he might be. Maybe he deserves a run now because our options in midfield are pitiful and it’s clear Bruno has to play further forward, but I don’t hold out much hope for the lad and if anyone offers good money I’d be shipping him out.

@jm i have echoed the same opinion for the better part of a year about Mainoo yet others seem to glamour about him … he can’t pick a pass or control a game. On current form i would pick a midfield of Martinez and Ugarte with Bruno ahead of them.
Mount and Mainoo should be on the bench; Bruno left the pitch at 60mins and these fuckers couldn’t do nothing against a shite Burnley team so why do they deserve to start or be the first name off the bench each game. If there’s an offer for Mainoo they better accept it Asap

Problem with Mainoo is that he was amazing 18 months ago. Played very well for England too and at such a young age. No way can he be written off after 30 minutes of football. Especially in a season when he hasn’t played, has been given no support or coaching – basically Amorim has sapped all of his confidence. There were a few things he did last night that were brilliant. He is amazing at keeping the ball in tight spaces. His passing was off all night though and silly decision to shoot from 35 yards when we were in the closing stages was frustrating. But he absolutely needs a run of games i think.

I’d be more willing to leave him be until the summer, let him play a bit and see how things pan out. Either way we’ll get a good chunk of cash for him because all the media seem to rate him and regardless of how he does over the next few months people will just put it down to Man Utd being all over the shop. It won’t hurt us to keep him until the summer but it might to sell him now.

Cunha is almost stupid as Dalot. As many says here he don’t have to take on every opponents he meets on the pitch. Somebody have to tell him he needs to look up from the ball and look for his teammates. When he lost possession yesterday he pressed solely sprinting 100 yards and once he realized it was foolishness his breath was out and he jogged back. I also questioning the Ineos for the front 3 for 200M. Yes it was for Amorim and his unorthodox wingers and Amorim wanted Sporting’s 18 year old right wingback so Amad could be the right winger but Ineos got panic didn’t want the same mistake as with Ten Bob’s Ajax signings. Amorim didn’t want Sesko either but here we are now with Mbuemo and Cunha who can’t cross to Sesko. All of the interim managers are our old boys who prefers orthodox wingers. And these Ineos fuckers got paid royally for this absolute shite strategy. We are back to square one and so far the Ineos management have cost us dearly.
