Chelsea need to put their very best available cash offer for Haaland on the table if it’s circa twice the buy out clause next Summer business wise it would stupid of Dortmund to turn it down. Almost as stupid as Chelsea being prepared to pay £150m for him but I guess needs must.
Make it a take it or leave it offer which runs out in 48 hours from the offer being made, even if Dortmund were to take the offer with Riola in the mix it still wouldn’t be a done deal.
If we can’t sign a top striker due to their limited availability with Giroud gone hang on to Tammy and sign Ings the combination of which must net us more PL goals than last season albeit probably not enough for a title challenge which signing Haaland might.

As the squads stand, city and Chelsea have the two best. Chelsea need a striker but they still have goals from other areas. They have a huge array of quality attacking players. Plus havertz and Werner have had a season to bed in now and I think they can really push on now
Kante is chelsea most important player. Take him out and it weakens them. Excellent side and I think they will be up there

I’m going the top 4 as City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Leicester. If Chelsea sign a top top striker I could be persuaded to go Chelsea for the league. ManU won’t make top 4, Ole will get found out and sacked.

Sean, I’m fairly confident that Chelsea will be up there come the end of the season but there’s a big difference between being up there and challenging for the title only two teams in the top 10 of the PL last season scored less goals than Chelsea last season and nobody can challenge for the title with their top scorer scoring 7 goals and that was only because he takes penalties.
Overall the squad is good and I think you’re right the players signed last summer are likely to be better players this season but the missing ingredient is a consistent goal scorer if Chelsea get one and strengthen in one or two other areas I think then they could be credible title contenders.
It currently looks like City and United if they continue to strengthen to me with Liverpool not far behind.

I wouldn’t write utd off at all foxy. Get varane in and it’s absolutely huge. He needs to win something this season and put in a proper title challenge
Utd are not that far away at all in my opinion. Progress last season. The next final they get to , they will win. Numerous semi finals and a final and 2nd in the pl
Reminds me of Liverpool’s strides under klopp. I fancy utd to do well this season
