Letโs keep Mo on the bench and let him work his way back. Earn it.
Chiesa already has. Give him game time!_____________________________

13th December 2025 at 2:08 pm #233895Looks like a 4231 to me. Wirtz 7, Mac as 10, Szobo 11. Jones alongside Grav. Could be wrong.

13th December 2025 at 2:55 pm #233900What does Chiesa have to do, to get a start?

13th December 2025 at 2:57 pm #233902I would not have started Mac and put Chiesa in place of him.
If itโs 4-4-2, then itโs wirtz in behind ekitike.
If itโs 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, then wirtz on the left is wasted. He needs to be central.

13th December 2025 at 4:59 pm #233910Job done, smooth as butter, and a clean sheet to boot.
We move on and now focus only on winning the next league game.

13th December 2025 at 5:00 pm #233911I said it over here, long before we signed Isak, and I’ll say it AGAIN, Ekitike is the far better striker. He knows it, Isak knows it and now Slot clearly know it.
Long may his upward trajectory at Liverpool continue, so that he can win us the biggest trophies as soon as possible.

13th December 2025 at 5:08 pm #233913Where has this team been all season, I swear that this was the first team sheet this season where I saw the lads actually trying to play each other, backing each other up fighting for the 2nd ball and winning those balls. Overall pretty good, letยดs just hope those injuries are not to bad… It was kinda funny seeing Van Dijk and Robbo chase after Salah on that last counter, I do not think he was expecting either of them backing him up on the counter, that is a first for me.
Good match, Ekitike is proving to be a bargain, one of the few matchwinners we have this season. Constant threat, his timing is so good when he knocks the ball in front of the defender it reminds me of Bale actually.

14th December 2025 at 4:33 am #233929โCan you point out one thing Salah managed in this game? Corner was all Ekitike.โ
I thought salah did okay, a couple of really bad passes on the break like the one near the end. Got a really good ball to mac(who was shite btw) and should have done better, his exchanges in the penalty box were good, and was always an outlet on the break.
I seen the game, we were decent but anyone who says weve changed and are playing wellโฆ im sorry i must be watching a different game! Weve been playing like that all season, we dominate, carve out chances, miss and then let the opposition walk past everyone to carve out their own clear cut chancesโฆ the one at the back post, the allison save in the first half, mintehs chance cutting in etc. the most important thing is we are getting the 3 points!
I thought wirtz had a good game and was my motm, worked tirelessly and linked up well! Ekitike did well, missed quite a few chances though. Konate did well and its a pity with gomezs injury as he did well!
The jury’s still out for kerkez, who is deffo moreno mach 2.0.. hes always wrong sided and diving in, looks crap on the ball, runs like hes in 2nd gear, no aerial ability, no belief and He looks a dud! His improvement has to be tantamount to gravenberchs second season, or else we will need to sign another left back! Thought mac was crap today, szobozlai didnt do much either and gravenberchs decision making was underwhelming!
Hopefully the salah saga has been put to bed and the team can now move forward.

14th December 2025 at 8:56 am #233940Didn’t see the game. I recorded it, sat down to watch it and as it was still playing I accidentally pressed live instead of from the beginning. 2-0 97th minute popped up. Schoolboy error.
How was the intensity? The shape? From the snippets I’ve seen on YT seems that Grav held back a fair bit, correct?

14th December 2025 at 9:11 am #233941I donโt. Couldnโt get passed his opponent. Poor first touches. Slow. Horrendous passing. Finish from Chiesaโs pass criminal.

14th December 2025 at 10:47 am #233944Pretty much same 3ps. Been on a 6 day this week so not had much chance with this and saw MOTD highlights. Seems Salah relationship has mended which injects positivity around and Ekitike should be placed an emphasis on as our present and future.
Not reading too much into our recent wins. We need a run of strong results over this period to convince me to think otherwise.

14th December 2025 at 12:06 pm #233947Threeps, beside Ekitike walking away with the MOTM award, Jones also had a excellent game. I also find it quite ironic that Gomez has stepped up and provided us with two assists in his two last games. Itยดs just that every time he plays as a rightback he gets injured…
Salah played good but it is obvious that the lads have not become accustomed to playing together, a lot of misplaced passes in the final third that should have ended up in a goal scoring opportunity. The way I look at it at least there was movement and the lads were not trying to do it all by themselves. Even though Chiesa should have been more selfish with his chance. The final pass will happen more often with more playing time.
I am not worried about that, I am worried because Joe Gomez has been our most potent attacking threat in the last two games.

14th December 2025 at 2:45 pm #233956We could do with West Ham beating Villa, Palace drawing with City (think City will win that two or three nowt), Sunderland not arsed, and Bournemouth to take points of United tomorrow. That’ll make it a grand weekend (not had many of them for a while).
