Slot knows he’s gone I suspect so a trip home is probably very appealing.

Just don’t understand why FSG are not protecting their ‘asset’ ie a Champions League qualifying team with the huge commercial and monetary implications that go with that. In my view it will be inexcusable to wait until we have lost that before taking action. The probability of qualifying through winning the comp this year is very low in comparison to achieving a top 5 finish.

It’s less embarrassing than when he went to Ibiza last season to party with Rooney after the league was done. That was exactly 12 months ago.

It reminds me of the worst captain I’ve ever had on a boat, he was overworking us for example. The crew had not slept for more than 3 hours in the last 24 and he makes us go out again.

We complain, we needed more sleep but he insists and as soon as we start fishing he decides he is too tired to stand his shift.

So he went to sleep for four hours, I dont think we catched more than one fish during those 4 hours as we took our fucking break as well.

Btw I’m off this boat two weeks later after a physical fight where I threw the captain out of our house.

Bingo, must admit that wound me up last season. The League was won, but it’s a disservice to the other Teams and Unprofessional. We shouldn’t really be in ‘Exhibition Mode’ unless we’re like 5-0 up with 10 minutes left. Even so, there’s always a points Tally to try and bulk up.

2nd Gear strolling around; no wonder we’ve often been trampled all over by opposition. If we train our bodies to go above and beyond physically then we get used to it and it becomes second nature.

there are more and more video popping out on youtube asking for Gerrard until the end of the season and I honestly think that would be the approach. I know a lot of fans want Alonso but I am not sure about him for the long term, I would like to give it a try but I think there are better candidates out there. Both in Enrique and Nagelsmann. Both managers have a very clear defined vision for the team. I actually think Nagelsmann would be perfect for us, he plays much in the same way as Klopp.

Then again I would also take Alonso tomorrow, today, yesterday.

Nobody is taking over from Kompany until he decides its time. Bayern are probably the best team in Europe right now, honestly I do not see one weakness anywhere in their lineup. Kane with 48 goals this season! The rest of their forwards are also delivering about 40 goals and assists. They are the team to stay away from this season. I would reckon their chances of winning old big ears is about 50%.

My top candidate is Nagelsmann, I actually think the club would have acted a bit sooner if the top candidate was still Alonso and sacked Slot. Even the Bayern officials thought they acted a bit too soon when they sacked Nagelsmann and he has been doing an excellent job with the german national side. I don´t think there is a hungry young manager like him anywhere!

Bingo I’ve told you about 3 times already, Nagelsmann is contracted to Germany until euro 2028. If he gets out early it’s because he has been sacked for not being good enough, and contray to what you put that could be the case, Germany arnt that good currently.

And do you know why he was sacked from Bayern?

Kompany could replace Pep, maybe not his summer but possibly the next.

you might have told me 3 times but I have read it more often than that that he will resign from his position after the world cup, he was sacked from Bayern as his methods freaked them out during a rebuild. He will resign whether he will win the world cup or not. After the world cup he will take up a position in club football again. Klopp is the most likely candidate to take over from him and I think that will happen. I don´t think Klopp will ever go into club football again but that German international job is his after the world cup. I would even bet a pint on this for the right odds 😉

I don´t think anyone would want the City position as I reckon Pep will leave as soon as the 115 charges get dealt with.

There is a easy transfer embargo on Chelsea next season, when found guilty City are gonna have to deal with the consequences. Not many managers are gonna want that job, when they can´t buy a player for 2-3 seasons.

I could take the ferry over to there at any given time during the last 2 years but I know a proper pub around here, I can go out and relax after a days work. It’s definitely bubbling beneath us Sean and there’s Teams Ready to take 5th Plac e and 6th Places. Even a journey in the Conference League for some teams is a Money Spinner with added Fixtures.

If we carry on the way we are, we’re looking at 8 or 9th place. Be lucky if we hit even 60 Points!!

3ps, I don´t wanna be arguing with you but I wanna tell you do one thing, read up about Nagelsmann, cause there is not a single young manager with his vision. He works for the most progressive FA in Europe and got the respect of the whole country.

Bayern move for him was a bad one but I don´t think he was at fault there, even management there recognized that fact and gave Kompany more time with lesser results if I am not mistaken. It was mainly because Nagelsmann was so way ahead of Bayern. He still had a win ratio of over 70% when he got the sack there and is responsible for the introduction of most of the lineup Kompany uses right now.

At least nobody can convince me that there is a better candidate than him as our manager, I want a fanatic about football, not someone that goes on holiday when ever he sees fit and if what I have been reading up about him and his ambitions, he is very likely to step down after the world cup to focus once again on club football.

He might have a contract that goes one year further but that is just about security for the job. he will return to club management after the summer, 100% guaranteed even if he wins the world cup.

That is why I want his deal secured through some shady ways and just Gerrard to step in until Julian arrives. Gerrard will not get drunk with Rooney in Ibiza and tell him the latest gossip about our squad, Gerrard will not put down the club either to enhance his reputation.
