So what I’m thinking of more and more when mentioning a player is about his playing position and Identity. Fabinho, rock solid Defensive Midfielder who played his part protecting the defensive unit and had the ability to supplement the attack.

Sadio Mane: Robust and an Aggressive Attacker. Roberto Firmino: Skilful Attacker and Playmaker.

FIXED is the key word here because naturally over time, they’ve been allowed to bed in and Establish themselves.

The Highly Testing Challenges quite simply have been the nature of our League meaning that the players bought are expected to hit the ground running. Unfortunately, where we’ve been hit hard the most is our Defensive area because of the changes in Personnel, combined with unsettlement of Konate and Van Dijk let’s be honest in his twilight years of playing.

Guehi not going through on Deadline Day is criminal and Palace really should legally have been challenged for that. Leoni not available till next year so all in all, in Slot’s defensive objectively speaking, he’s faced in one hit problems from different directions and as a result has really tested and blown up his Tenure with LIVERPOOL

Right seen the game.

1st half we started of well and were dominant before and after the goal. Disappointed with first goal, i dont even know how you can defend something so unique. Salahs touch should have allowed him to score his chance, wirtz had a brilliant opportunity to level, and kerkez ran in behind only to pass into the keepers hand. Brentford dominated 29th minute until the 38 minute.

Kerkez besides scoring didnt do anything right, hes been a major disappointment, atm hes worse then moreno, tsimikas is a level above him. Salahs worst game so far, ekitike couldnt get the ball our forward line was bullied all throughout the game!

What really gets me vexed is this stupid style of trying to play tippy tappy/tikki taka football … we are not Barcelona(contrary to buying the next “Iniesta”). Please please dear god why the hell do we keep passing to players who have 4 players around him only for him to pass it back with a first touch.. we need to switch play faster, this led to the second goal… but has caused issues all season. We are missing a xabi alonso type player, trent and players who can cross balls into the box. Our buildup is brutal and lacking ideas its “oh theres a liverpool player, i’ll pass it to him” the team lacks ideas, no one is dictating the game.

The second half was really hard to watch, we just launched it from the keeper and kept losing possession. Curtis, szobo played well when they got the ball! However unlike gravenberch and mac they are hardly ever available to receive the ball and break the press. It was just backward passes and then launch it from the keeper. Thats the worst game since crystal palaces first half and the Newcastle united game.
