Threeps, thats all hindsight with the rot of last season statement, i remember in the summer when all our transfers were coming through.. no one mentioned dressing room unrest or we are gonna be pants this season! We were all excited with our shiny new toys and what we were gonna do with them… dont believe me? check out all the preseason game threads and summer transfer threads! I did mention that we were short in defence and had lost, in my opinion, our best player of last season… luis diaz.
This has all come to the fore now, once we started losing games.. i assume all of us have played football in leagues, when the going gets tough… ive seen some crazy stuff happen, players celebrating with the opposition after a loss, people leaving the team, fighting, cliques forming, subs not wanting to come on, etc. so for me personally on current form, i expect some sort of unrest in the dressing room + the damaging effects of losing jota!
Tactically, i admit my knowledge is not great and deffo not as good as yours or robs.. so please enlighten me with what our current/new tactics that im not seeing? Cus all ive got in my armchair tea lady brain from you this season is “fullbacks are underlapping, fullbacks are inverting, play wirtz left wing, macalisters shite”…

You can’t see the lack of press? How the current forward line lacks intensity? That the DM is now allowed to venture forward and leave a big gap? And how a non pressed player can exploit that?
You can’t see Kerkez filling in as a 3rd centre back? How that isn’t in his skill set? How Bradley inverting means Salah is pushed out wide ineffectively?
You can’t see we no longer play out from the back? We no longer beat the press? How the opposion can easily set back into their defensive shape?
The lack of tempo? The lack of intensity? You can’t see that no?Âł
You don’t know about VvD leading team meetings without inviting Slot? How Ekitie made a point of celebrating with Chiesa in front of Slot? You can’t see the in game body language of the players? Of Kerkez who is being thrown under a bus by his manager when VvD again berates him?
Never said MacAllister is shite, just should be used higher up the pitch. Never said Wirtz should play left wing, but an inside left no like how he plays for Germany and did for BO4 last season.

Actually ive still got time on my hands for a reply…
Youre right about the dm/gravenberch moving forward and when he was banging goals and getting assists recently we were all jolly and saying “thats part of his locker and he shoumd be using it” .. its not his fault konate was messing up in defence in simple circumstances… see crystal palace game!
Bradley inverting is not the first right fullback weve had thats inverting.. and salahs is not ineffective as per say.. hes missed the most clear chances in the league, still plays his normal game ie the past few games dribbling from the right and shooting when theres better options… hes been poor down to poor first touch, decision making and finishing! Not been at races since February…
We cant play from the back cus your best mate mac alisters getting dropped and gravenberch is injured… marmadashvilli is poor distributor compared to allison! yes our play is slow and did mention this tippy tappy passing game is leaving us open.. see brentfords second goal!
VVD is the captain of this team, one of Liverpools longest serving players currently, if hes had a team meeting as captain im sure its not to berate the manager moreso to help moral and lift the players! Next ill be hearing he went into the dressing after nallos red card to strangle him..
Dont know about ekitikes celebrations tbh but i think your overthinking it… kerkez has been poor all over the pitch, for a third centreback he was put through by curtis against brentford only to lift the ball straight into the keepers hands, his passing in our defensive half has been brutal, thus putting pressure on the whole team with misplaced passes!
Im not having a pop at you, im just replying to your remarks or points, you have this notion that im always out for you(wirtz iniesta, armchair manager, there was another one recently), i have the utmost respect for you and sometimes im having a laugh but you seem to be taking it the wrong way!

Well for whats its worth its good to have you back moonster! Missing bingo though… hes not been the same ever since that cunt mbappe fucked off to Real Madrid… he made a deal with nike, fsg and liverpool and then went back on his word!! Theres no decent people left in this world i have you know… no honour no integrity amongst football players… thanks to this weve lost a great fan and a member of the community.. who could at least pronounce arne slot properly and knew manes long lost family in germany!

The tactic needed tweaking as it was found out. We went from winning almost every game to just being pretty good. Would we be any better? Compare us to the 2nd half of last season, before the Spurs game (as they were all off on their holidays after that) then I would say we are now in a far worse footballing situation. What will it be if we lose tomorrow? Worst league run since 1953 or something? And before that none of our league wins were actually good performances.
I think most of the players we bought are quality if played in the right tactic but they are not, and I am not going to go over that again and again. Marma being the exception (yes bought the year before…), he just isnt good enough. Said it at the time, no idea why we bought him, he isnt right at all for a possesion based team.
We could be brilliant with a few tweaks and change in training. Isak, Ekitike, Iniesta v2, Kerkez are all very good players, but Slot hasnt worked out how to use them.

Agree about the keeper threeps.
We play a high line yet is rooted to his line. Thought he was dreadful for 2nd goal v Brentford
Decent shot stopper but poor with ball at his feet. Still young.
We never really missed alisson when kelliher cane in. Both have similar styles but alisson miles ahead of kelliher. Kelliher just fitted into our style perfectly when needed.
We really miss Alisson.slight chance back for city game. Absolutely world class goal keeper.
33 now. Is he contracted till 2027? Going to hugely miss him
