I was warning right throughout the transfer window that we were going to just end up with yet more square pegs in round holes and a completely unbalanced team, it was just so fucking obvious. This is why it’s not just an Amorim problem, it’s Wilcox and Berrada who should also get the chop, but of course they won’t and they will be the ones picking the new manager once again, which is absolutely fucking frightening to say the least.

29th September 2025 at 8:14 pm #227602Makes you wonder @blacky67, if there is a November clause, then at least until then Ratcliffe and Co have got to publicly support Amorin, even if they have thoughts of the sack. And they can’t afford even a slip that hints at otherwise, or Amorin could kick up a fuss. But I don’t see any way forward with him now, with a real risk we’ll be in the bottom 3 by the time November comes round, something has to change and it seems Amorin isn’t prepared to even though it’s obvious what he’s doing isn’t working. Pretty much every team I’ve watched in the PL this season so far looks capable of beating Utd, even Wolves! So what hope have we got as things stand.

29th September 2025 at 9:23 pm #227604Not just the manager, but we need another complete overhaul, starting in January and continue in the summer.Who the fuck decided to sign the likes of de Ligt, Mazraoui,Zirkzee, Mbeumo,Mount and many more, should be sacked and shot on the spot!

30th September 2025 at 6:20 am #227606Well thereβs no rush, because the one task for any incoming manager is to avoid relegation. And any line up that includes a back four would ensure that comfortably.

30th September 2025 at 7:29 am #227615The most obvious issue is Amorimβs reluctance to realize certain players are just not up to it.. for example recently continuing to drop Yoro in favor of Maguire knowing we have zero pace at d back without Yoro .. Not getting rid of Casemiro, Bruno, Ugarte over d summer knowing that midfield is completely fucked n will continue to b overrun β¦ Who TF sanctioned d signing of Dorgu knowing quite well he doesnβt have half d brain of a footballer.. we have Dorgu nd Malacia both LWBs who are completely shite..
For the past 42games Amorim has changed the back3 while d match is going on; the data nd Statistics are just too damning but he wonβt get the sack as they will wait until we are completely in the bottom3 then they will go into panic mode and appoint someone like SouthGate n try to rationalize it then after 3months we are back at it again

30th September 2025 at 7:53 am #227618Carragher absolutely slaughtered Amorim and the United hierarchy last night on MNF, and raised all the points some of us have been worried about ever since he got the job. With Rooney and Neville also raising massive concerns after Brentford it’s really going to ramp up the pressure on both Ineos and Amorim big time, there’s only one possible outcome now.

30th September 2025 at 10:43 am #227632@happy – Not a fucking chance that will happen, if they do we will be relegated, it would actually be like giving Gary Glitter the keys to the local kiddies nursery. The more I observe him the more I conclude that the guy is far too emotional and flakey to ever manage at the very top level, and that’s even without taking into account his diabolical football judgement and the fact that he’s an absolute tactical pygmy.
It’s like he goes quickly into panic mode as soon as the game goes against us, and this absolute bollocks of not even being able to watch our penalties is just totally fucking pathetic. As I said as soon as the fixtures came out, he will not survive beyond the November international break, simple as that._____________________________

30th September 2025 at 11:21 am #227633As much as I was shouting for him to get the job when ETH was fired it’s clear that the job is beyond him now.
I don’t think it always was, but I saw someone saying that he never wanted to come in mid-season and take the job but he was convinced to do it, he came into an absolute vortex, the management levels of the club were in upheaval, all the new members (Ashworth, Berrada, Wilcox) were trying to flex their muscles and let everyone know how strong/weak they were.
It was a shitshow from day one and his absolute commitment to 3-4-3 undermined him from day one as well. He didn’t have the players to do it last season but he stuck to it, the problem is that when he got more players who could play in that system, the ones who were here last season had lost confidence in it.
If he’s fired, and it’s still and pretty big if at the moment even if the tides are changing, we need an interim manager until the end of the season (Carrick, even van Nistelrooy did well for us and then complete shite for Leicester) and then have a manager come in in late May, early June and take control. A complete blank slate, wipe it clean and go again. We know all our players can play in a system with a back 4 because most of them always have._____________________________

30th September 2025 at 12:29 pm #227635Yeah but they’ll still all be different levels of shite no matter what the system is, that’s the problem. Dalot at RB has always been a fucking disaster zone and he’s been here over 8 years, Shaw has unbelievably had 11 years, Maguire is a slow fucking oaf and is in his 6th year at the club, Matinez is a crock, too small and too slow, then we have De Ligt and Mazraoui who should never have been bought in the first fucking place.
Having said all that, we should never averaging a point per game over almost a full season of games, and that’s where Amorim’s terrible failings are being shown up. As Carragher said last night, any competent manager would do a better job than he has done._____________________________

30th September 2025 at 1:25 pm #227637Amorim’s biggest problem is he thinks too much of himself and his system. Personally i dont trust half the fucking squad even if they were in a 433 but continuing with Bruno in midfield and constantly changing the back line which has zero pace is just criminal. The arrogance to play Bayindir continually while blocking Mainoo is pathetic when you consider performances. Seems he is trying to get us relegated while proving a point. When you think the majority of the leadership team should not even be at the club any more it just makes an already horrible shitshow 10 times worse. Amorim is clearly not the right man but the lack of effort against the likes of Grimsby and Brentford is on the players. If it’s Glasner or Ariola next then i’ve no doubt that will also turn to shit within a few months. It’s like we have been fucking cursed

30th September 2025 at 1:35 pm #227639Of course majority of the players are to blame but they are also complete crocks who shouldnβt still be at the club .. we have a new GK who has sat out n watched Bayindir give lessons on how not to be a keeper which is the fault of Amorim .. Dalot i repeat is an absolute fraudster .. the list of things wrong with d club is long such as letting Bruno, Casemiro n Amorim decide their futures when both should have been shipped off..
He knows he isnβt getting the sack anytime soon which is exactly why he refuses to tweak things n continues to make sure we suffer
7points -4 Goal difference and in 14th place after 6games β¦ two newly promoted teams are way above us π€£π€£π€£

30th September 2025 at 1:41 pm #227640It would be interesting to see how things would be right now if Amorim hadn’t arrived until the end of the season and was only a few games in. I know many of the same players would be here but…..

30th September 2025 at 2:15 pm #227645Lammens
Mazraoui – Yoro – De Ligt – Dorgu/Leon
Mainoo – Ugarte/Mount/Casemiro – Fernandes
Mbuemo/Amad – Sesko – CunhaNobody can convince me that this team and 4-3-3 setup will do worse than what we currently have… so why on earth aren’t we playing this way??
I almost want us to lose to Sunderland so Amorim gets the sack and we can move on, because surely he is not the solution.

30th September 2025 at 2:20 pm #227647On a much brighter note Malacia has now been reintergrated into the squad, so that’s our LB issues sorted out for the next decade at least! Who knows, it might even help save Amorim’s job?!!π€πππ
