It was also Ole who begged Pogba to stay when he wanted out, signed the Wankster for 50 million, and thought McFred was a great midfield partnership. He even said recently on the Overlap that Fred was a 7/10 player who never had a bad game, which had Keane spitting out his coffee!ππ
It looks like it’s a done deal until the end of the season now, but I dont give a flying fuck if he gets top 4, wins the FA Cup, the Wimbledon tennis and the fucking boat race he just CANNOT get the full time job ever again!_____________________________

7th January 2026 at 5:19 pm #235937Itβll be interesting to see how he does this time. Originally when he came in after Jose, the first thing he did was talk about how great the players were ( basically he gave them all reach arounds, No Pics MUFC!) due to it being toxic under Jose at the end of his tenure.
This time the players didnβt throw Amorim under the bus unlike previous managers. Granted the quality isnβt there but I generally think they did try.
Totally agree that thereβs absolutely no way Ole should get it full time._____________________________

20th January 2026 at 11:11 am #237296Would you have Carrick as manager? First choice be to go all out for sexy skin Enrique, am sure he speaks English?

20th January 2026 at 12:19 pm #237297Enrique came out last week and said he’s not leaving PSG, he said he’s very happy where he is and that he’s no plan to leave. He said his relationship with the board is very positive, that this is all media spin. He also said it’s true that he hasn’t agreed a new contract yet but he’s fairly confident that it will be done.
Based on the evidence of Carrick so far, it’s positive but I wouldn’t be making any snap decisions. It’s only one game. If there’s compelling evidence come May, if we’re in the top 5, if we’re in the Champions League, then he should be in the conversation for sure but that’s four months down the road, a lot of football to be played, although not as much as we’d like. I wouldn’t just give him the job though, I’d interview a number of candidates, including him, and go from there._____________________________

20th January 2026 at 1:06 pm #237299Its going to be a really tricky process to get right. Seemingly the club has tried everything since Fergie left. A manager who they thought would literally replace Sir Alex, then a super successful possession based top European manager. Then the serial winner Jose Mourinho before trying to go back to the Fergie roots with Ole. Then going for a tactician in ETH and finally a superb, up and coming manager who could take the club into a new era and style of football. All ending in spectacular failure.
Now, even if Carrick does well, surely they won’t make the same mistake as they did with Ole – so Carrick won’t be considered for the job no matter hoe well he does. Then its seemingly go out and get the best manager available. But each of them come with their own issues. Ancelotti is too old now. And what possible connection would Thomas Tuchel have with the club? He’s never been in a job for more than 2 years has he?They have to get this appointment right but, because they’ve failed with every other avenue, it almost feels like an impossible job.

20th January 2026 at 3:19 pm #237304Not just about getting the Managerial appointment right .. they have to nail getting the right players over the summer too because it wonβt matter if we get Enrique as manager and Zidane as his assistant if we still have some of the same shower of shites players who down the tools whenever they feel like it.
