27th September 2025 at 8:54 pm #227480He has a worse win percentage than Graham Potter yet only one of them has been sacked.. i reckon he wonβt be getting d sack anytime soon just because the club is controlled by incompetence nd indecisiveness

27th September 2025 at 9:23 pm #227486He wonβt be sacked until after his 1 year anniversary as blacks said and if he was that would be even greater management given the extra cost

28th September 2025 at 8:03 am #227498Manchester United are considering Graham Potter after his sacking by West Ham as a surprise replacement should Ruben Amorim leave. (Fichajes – in Spanish)

28th September 2025 at 8:11 am #227500The more you try and analyse this complete and utter shitshow under Amorim the more completely baffling it becomes. He must have known a long, long time ago that unless he admitted to his many mistakes and made some fundamental changes then things were only ever going to get worse. What other manager in the history of the game has had so many bad results and piss poor performances on his CV yet has still completely refused to at least try something different to put some results on the table like this guy has done?, it’s completely unfathomable.
Let’s face it, after nearly a full season in charge now there is still absolutely no signs of any sort of a team emerging from this wreckage nor are there any visible signs of things that are being worked on at Carrington because we are still as big a shambles today as we were in his very first game at Ipswich, when we were lucky in the end to come away with a point.
He also keeps saying how much each defeat “hurts” him but if that were really true surely he would put his own ego aside and at least try to adapt?, but he is either just so arrogant and stubborn to try or he really does just want to get sacked as soon as possible so he can just get his compo and fuck off back to Portugal._____________________________

28th September 2025 at 8:55 am #227503The smart move would be to sack him now so the new manager can get the best chance of a “new manager bounce” (home vs a newly promoted side next) which, if the team gain confidence and win impressively, might just ignite our season.

28th September 2025 at 9:28 am #227507@Sympathy – They must already be thinking of pulling the trigger, if not they really are as I suspect the biggest bunch of clueless fuckwits ever to get involved with professional sport BUT if the reports of double compo for Amorim and his staff are true then they will definitely wait until November after his first year’s anniversary has passed, simple as that.

28th September 2025 at 10:50 am #227517They even should not be thinking.. it should be a done deal already⦠17defeats 9winw 7Draws in 33League Defeats .. how TF is he not sacked already
Also why sign up a coach who clearly stated his refusal to be tactically inflexible and also not insert certain clauses into his contract.. Hate the Glazers all day but INEOS are truly right Ol cunts themselves and i suspect Berrada is pals with Amorim because fuck it there isnβt any other logical explanation; and like Ashworth got kicked out for giving Ten Haag another chance heads should roll for whoever made the Amorim signing

28th September 2025 at 4:58 pm #227557I’ve said it before, the best thing we could do now is get an interim manager in until season’s end. Someone like Carrick, knows the club, knows its history, knows its traditions, knows its standards, understands how we should be playing. He can come in, be told if he’s exceptional he’ll be in the running but either way a decision won’t be made until May/June. Then they can also properly observe Iraola, Glasner and anyone else they fancy for the next seven or eight months.

29th September 2025 at 3:03 pm #227583After the weekend’s farce, I’m pretty much convinced that Amorin will be going. If the November deadline is true, about the severance pay, then maybe after that, assuming the post November clauses aren’t any worse – and god knows, who’d be surprised.
When Amorin came in, I really wanted him to succeed, mainly because we needed stability after a decade or so of utter garbage at manager and exec level. And while as I’ve said before, I’m not totally against the 3-4-3, it has to be with the right players. If the players can’t do it, and there’s ample evidence they can’t, then surely the system has to change. Amorin’s record is terrible, no other conclusion is possible. After 30 odd matches, you’d know whether your changes are going to work. Clearly they don’t work as Amorin expects.
Either he has to change, or he has to be changed.
He has brought in a front 3 at 200 odd million. Whilst the team is not solely his making, you have to work with what you have. I think another manager would have got more out of the team before the last transfer window. Look how other managers are getting so much more out of far less expensive squads, at Palace, at Bournemouth, even at Sunderland. I think some of the players to go, had to go, in particular, Rashford and Sancho, so he’s done the right thing there, but I’m afraid the most important change, improvements to results, have failed to materialise, and he has had plenty enough time to generate an improvement there.

29th September 2025 at 3:49 pm #227586He has clearly put all his eggs into 1 basket with the signing of 2 so called no. 10s so that he can play Bruno deeper despite the whole football world telling him it won’t work! Whoever at the club approved signing 2 10’s and not a cm/dm should also be sacked when he finally goes.It is also patently obvious that you cannot play the 2 lumps Maguire and De Light together in a back 3 yet he continues to do it. He just refuses to learn.

29th September 2025 at 6:32 pm #227593What about the high line he employed on Saturday, apparently they’d been working on that all week, plus Mason Mount at LWB?! The guy really is a prize prick, completely deluded, arrogant and stubborn in the extreme. If Ratshit hadn’t appointed him he would have been sacked long ago, and if those clueless cunts at Ineos think that they can wait this utter bollocks out until things improve then all they will do is sleepwalk us into a big relegation fight, simple as that.

29th September 2025 at 6:36 pm #227594@Trapper – I would bet my house that there’s not one single person at OT who really believes that Amorim will be successful mate, probably not even the man himself but on we will go like a blind man fumbling in the dark because the truth is that the whole lot of them are about as useful as a cat flap in an Elephant house, simple as that.

29th September 2025 at 6:36 pm #227595I’ve no problem with Mount at lwb if there’s no other options but when you’ve Diego Leon sitting on the bench, an actual left back, it makes no fucking sense whatsoever. On top of that you’ve Bruno in midfield, Shaw at CB, Amad at RWB and numerous examples of square pegs in round holes. Players can’t play 3-4-3, maybe they can’t but it’s not helping that players are being played son woefully out of position either.

29th September 2025 at 6:40 pm #227596Just looking at the PL table this morning, I came to the conclusion that there isnβt one team we can go away to and expect a win, not one. Every fucking team in the league is more than capable of beating us. Scary!
