Waspy & 3ps-Shory term yes, massive blow, but medium to long term, we need to rebuild -completely!We have no place in CL, don’t deserve to be there.

Yeah, but I bet you wouldn’t turn it down….

I still think Angie should go, 17th (likely lose to Brighton now!) is just an embaressment, even for this team, and if the only wat he can get a tune out of it is playing “Maureen” football then what was the point.. be interesting to see who we go after in the summer now… or who leaves…

It’s a weird one as the stats/results/form in the league standards doesn’t lie.

In the same breath though, there are financial implications and who wouldn’t turn down the opportunity from that point of view to be involved?

Spurs are now in that awkward position we found ourselves in after Ten Hag won the FA cup last season. Levy won’t want to go down as the man who sacked the first manager to win a trophy in so many years. If he were to get the replacement wrong, he’d be crucified. I reckon both are gone by Christmas

Thing is ffp wise spurs could spunk a couple of hundred easy in the summer according to borsen

Attracting the right players tho Danny boy will need to pay in wages what he has never done

Why build the shiny stadium but have so little ambition on the pitch it’s mad

Financially Manchester United will suffer. But even when they were in a good financial position, they wasted money.

I am glad they are not in the CL because next season will be another disaster. CL football is a distraction the club can do without and it would be embarrassing campaign.

Post Ferguson, this is as bad it has got. It is a wake up call and they now need to build a team, rather than rely on individuals. Gernacho can bugger off. His comments after the game shows what is wrong with that club, players just feel entitled, only playing for themselves rather than the club.

Not often I agree with Buffy, especially about his prices on a Friday night, but he’s not wrong. We have so much wiggle room under the current “FFP” rules it’s a joke, but I don’t envy Baldy right now.

Does he give Angie the keys to the checkbook (which if Angie stay’s he has too!), or see if Angie can turn the “PREM” form around while juggling CL footy without any new signings, so saving the money for the next manager if Angie very likely fucks up in the meantime (without getting any cash in the summer)…. or gives it to Angie, who then fucks up anyway, and have nothing in the pot for when Poncho comes back next summer after the world cup?

Eitherway, I reckon Baldy’s getting bullocks whatever he does!
