I’m presuming the liklihood of Chiesa and Nunez leaving and Isak arriving.
That leaves us with Gakpo, Salah, Ekitike and Isak to cover 3 positions.
An injury to one (plus Salah away for at least a month mid season) leaves us very short to be playing 3 games a week.
We say what happened in the cup final and v PSG when we looked very leggy.
It’s not enough in my opinion.
Rio may very well get games in domestic cup and mins off the bench in CL and Prem but he’s there yet to be playing week in week out.
