I have concerns about Isak’s fitness but not necessarily his past record. When you watch Newcastle you can see he’s been wrapped up in cotton wool. He doesn’t press, doesn’t track back etc. I’ve read that the way Slot plays and trains could mitigate this, and you can see from last season we had little fitness issues.
But the forward line Rob posted is very strong even without Isak. Maybe Rodrygo added also? There’s been rumours all summer we are after a versatile forward.
