The weird thing about Hojlund is that his first season wasn’t great but definitely showed some glimpses of potential but this season was just pure disaster, his form which was patchy at best has just gone off a cliff, if not for the Europa League he’d have barely anything in the bank. It’s hard to see where he’ll rediscover what little form he’s shown since joinging but if we put all our eggs in one top striker, we’ll have no choice but to keep him as a backup because unless Chido Obi starts coming good, and fast, we can’t afford to let him go.
