I don’t think this is just about new players not settling, the team doesn’t look set right especially while defending. That comes from what they do on the training pitch and Ten Hag holds responsibility.
A lot is spoken about pressing these days and I think it was Danny Murphy who was saying its not just about energy and work rate, it about team cohesion and know who is doing what and how each player should then react.
That was silly from spurs. Yes you can win, but you’re not supposed to batter them and get him sacked! We can only hope (said it before) that the love between ineos and Southgate is true.
