nb, despite the problems you’re dreaming if you think that United will win 4 nil at the Bridge.

Chelsea haven’t been at their best yet this season and the form has been patchy brilliant away to Atletico awful at home to City but I would be amazed if we lost 4 nil at the Bridge to United.

Just like last season you need to stop wishing disaster on your competitors if Liverpool are going to make the CL places again this season they will need to do it by their own steam.

Ed, big game for Kante to come back to and I wonder whether he will last the full 90 mins having been our for 4 weeks but this Chelsea team looks to have a better balance about it.

Still be a very tough game though. I’ll take a 0-0 now.?

I have to admit to a guilty secret. I just love watching City play under Pep.

Adlab, really? I though you would prefer Chelsea beating United. Chelsea are far too far away to trouble City the season.

From a Chelsea perspective a lot depends on the return or not of Kante his form after injury and how well Drinkwater slots back in besides him.

No Kante with Matic gone who does the simple things well has left the Chelsea defence too exposed.

I don’t think Mourinho will go gung ho he will look to be strong defensively will probably assign Herrera to man mark Hazard and look to hit Chelsea on the break to claim the 3 points.

Don’t expect a great open game it won’t be that. But if City win in the earlier game Mourinho can’t afford City to get 8 points ahead effectively 9 points with the goal difference.

Equally there’s ridiculous media pressure bring heaped on Conte and he needs a win or at least not to get beaten and Chelsea need to ideally take 3 points in the race for a CL place.

banjo, there are big question marks against Real going forwards they currently look to be in real decline they are very unlikely to catch Barca in the League and have just lost to a recently promoted Girona which is not what you expect from the current World, European and Spanish Champions things might improve with injured players like Bale returning but currently Real look very unlikely to retain the CL which would leave them with just the Copa Del Rey.

Despite what Zidane has won as Real Manager if things don’t turn around Perez will act and even if Zidane survives Real are in need of some drastic surgery next Summer.

Real are the biggest club in football given their current situation should we not discuss them?

Sean, Ox was OK yesterday but only played because of injuries and currently when everybody is fit Ox doesn’t start for Liverpool and I think Southgate is right when he said if you don’t regularly play for your club side how can you play for England?

A really shameful performance from West Ham. Can’t see Bilic surviving that shame he’s one of the good guys.

You can only beat what’s in front of you and that was a very good win for Liverpool which pushes them towards a potential top 4 finish.

Awful from West Ham they will go down with performances like this. I like Bilic but West Ham need to make a managerial change prior to the January window to give whoever comes in a fighting chance.

They’ve got nothing up front and need to bring Carroll on at least he would add some nuisance value.

Poor game and currently not even a contest, West Ham need a League Cup type turnaround but I can’t see it coming I can only see another couple of more goals for Liverpool.

Jim, just a couple of cameos from the bench for Tammy in the PL for Chelsea.

I agree on Ox and with Southgate if you’re not playing regularly for your team you won’t play for England.

    Jim, Lol!

Barton definitely got the saying of it wrong.

Hopefully we can do you a bit of a favour tomorrow but ultimately I don’t think you’ll need it. Cheers 999

Interesting changes to the odds. Spurs lose to United and their odds go down, United beat Spurs and their odds go up. Chelsea odds go up despite an away win at Bournemouth and Liverpool odds go down by 20 points after beating Huddersfield at Anfield.

Andy Carroll could pose problems to a Liverpool defence who have problems defending the high ball.
