Brian, haha that is true and you are right Sir 🙂
Many years ago being a Coronation Street fan, I had the pleasure of visiting Granada Studios (the Original Set). The ‘make belief’ set all on one floor and such an eye-opener. The Rovers Return Pub was surprisingly small compared to the projection on TV.
I’m hoping ITV have scheduled tonight’s Emmerdale just before the game 🙂

442, it’s largely down to now being allowed to formulate a team or build a team around a player from Scratch.
This is Ole’s first full season and De Gea signed a new contract so the presumption is to build around him.
People wherever they are in the hierarchy don’t know whether they are coming or going if there are frequent changes in a relatively short space of time.
It was always going to be big boots to fill once SAF left the building.

The Caretaker part of it showed a good pattern of results and consistency.
Given Full-reigns so far has not necessarily been a good start, but the team has lacked goals. The players have to play their part and step-up.
I know there was suggestions in the possibility of Roy Keane and Neil Lennon which does sound promising, but would that happen?
It’s still a tad early to judge, and I honestly don’t understand this talk of relegation. Should Liverpool win, I don’t think that should render Ole being shown the Door.

This is an important qualifier for us, and looking forward to it on paper, but knowing what we’re like, we’ll start the game off dullish and I’ll be bored within the first 5 minutes lol.
Maybe, I’ll dip in and out of it, but has to be better than EastEnders! 😛

Sean, I understand what you’re saying mate, but I think it was one of those situations where Klavan was thrown into the mixer at the point of the team being in transition.
Klopp was new at the time and he was trying to sort the mess Rodgers had left.
That 2013/14 Title Charge saw us shipping in lots of goals even though we had S S S (Sturridge-Sterling-Suarez).
Those defensive problems weren’t addressed properly the season after when Rodgers basically messed up.
Klavan would have been better in a more settled line up with an established back 4. Van Dijk is such a massive help and I think others feel more stable and self-assured knowing they are surrounded by him.

I mentioned on the other thread about Lovren. He’s a lot more of a senior now. To be fair, he’s in his 5th year at the club so by now, he should be the ‘full-shilling’, but in fairness to him and the back 4, it helps if he is surrounded by first class quality in Van Dijk, Robertson and Trent.
Moreno’s habit in poor positioning and not tracking back often gave Lovren problems. Back in the early days of Klopp’s reign, we had to manage with players like Klavan.

I’ve never had any problems with Adlab. Maybe it’s the threat levels plus Liverpool coming so close last season that’s causing him to react in such way.
When Pep hit 100 points, there wasn’t nobody really challenging as the gap was 25 points.
I think bookies were paying out when the stats were 18 2 lost 1. They were on a different planet.
The argument towards Pep being the best for me wont sit 100% because he didn’t achieve what Klopp achieve with Dortmund. He basically turned them from doubters to believers and look at the way he’s transformed Liverpool.

Mak, I’ve kept out of your way as well as your arguments, so I’m not sure why you’re addressing to me. This was on that back on your comment/request to me the other night which I’ve not forgotten about.
Not good at all.

This thread was actually going along quite well with posts relating to the thread title up until Page 3 and the post from 4:35.
What’s even caused that because I don’t see anything inflammatory or aggravating?
This should have been posted back on the Weekend Football Thread if there was further reflection to add, but even so, one should be able to move on. We’re on International Week, so it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but why the urge to pick a fight from nowhere and the vitriol too?

If this is the type of reaction and continuous residual resentment coming out every-time there’s something going in LFC’s favour or they Win, then quite frankly, I’m better off without this place.
I have a lot of stress impacted genuinely at the moment and I don’t need anymore.
Quite right Sean. It’s some kind of a stigma attached. There’s a lot of stuff others get away with yet it never gets picked up on and this is one of them. I can see why Alfie left now.
Too many bricks thrown than kind exchanges.

C67, you are right Sir. I know CFC1905, and would never post anything harmful or inflammatory. I would be concerned too. People genuinely are busy and I appreciate that as per my above post. You’re unlikely to have everyone’s personal email address, so this is then the only way to make people aware and Good Luck To CM.
I really hope CFC1905 is ok and will get in touch.

I would never discount Rashford’s quality and what he capable of and why should I?
Liverpool were beaten not so long ago at Old Trafford. He can raise his game and may well do. Old Trafford for Liverpool is a tough nut to crack, a hard place to come away with something.
I think this all could be down to the ‘England Hype’. I get it, because the National Team beckons Talent and even better if that person can put the ball in the back of the net.
Rashford’s young, so I wouldn’t be too hard on him. At Manchester United, he needs SERVICE and a RELIABLE and nice LINK UP PLAYER.

I don’t understand how anybody can be aggravated at all to provoke such remark/response (Moos).
I am well aware of early morning starts as I’m some-times rostered in myself to start 6:30 (to take the weight off the shoulders of high management) and I have a half-hour drive. Ok, I don’t have responsibility of children, but already had that in my youth looking after my younger brother and supporting my Parents.
I have sometimes late finishes and I probably won’t get in till 11 and sleep till about 12-1.
I have a genuine health problem which I need to take care of and can put right, and for 6 months, the bar’s been raised in dialling up, but I can recall the time when I’ve had no work. Now, people are asking me to step into Management where I am, but not quite ready for that extra amount of stress and I’m happy as I am, and as much as I believe in thriving to build a future for the rainy day, I also believe in Quality Of Life.
Teamtalk, I spent or was able to spend time, largely due to the fact that I had time in the first place lol 😀
CM was/is an engaging regular that I originally came across on Teamtalk possibly 10 years ago.
And the bottom line is, no matter what where our allegiances are nailed to, we have a Life; Family-Work-Wellbeing.

Having surfed around various other mediums of the Net, I’m actually noticing more and more opposition showing support towards Liverpool and hoping they can finally end their 30 year wait – there’s Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, even supporters of clubs from the Championship.
They’re seemingly receptive and recognising what we achieved last season and how we have followed that through so far this season.
It’s totally refreshing from my POV – definitely take that with both hands.

Mr Pagan, good analogy and true.
If I didn’t feel over-worked and stressed in the way I have done over the last 6 months, I would love to use the word ZEST. That’s the way I want to feel about Liverpool.
