Check book has gone a bit quiet, but all the ITK’s are still insisting on at least two more signings in the final third, the loooonnnnnggggg awaited signing of Savinho from the 115 and the mysterious “bomba” signing which will be very disspointting if it’s Gapko… (not that he’s bad, but the #9 spot is the one which needs improving the most I think… don’t think Richy and Solanko will hit 25 bwtween them….

Liking the look of how Zebri is setting us up, fairly tight and very quick to move to ball upwards…

Just finished Yellowstone… excellent garbage in the same way Blacklist was excellent garbage… but not sure if I can be arsed with all the spin-offs… 8.5782/10

Now I need to crack open the Ted Lasso box set which has been sitting next to my TV for months…

When you put it like that, 3p’s, maybe he doesn’t deserve the boot…

But… as much as I could agree about players being knackered, I would have gone apples for apples… so, if Gordon was knackered, put on Rashford (who shouldn’t be knackered?), etc….

I also think he made a mistake keeping on Harry & Jude… who did both look knackered… more knackered than Gordon if I’m honest… take of Jude, move Rogers central… put on one of the Goonies…

Or take off Harry and stick on Tooney/Watkins…

All he did was invite the pressure and the inevitable outcome…

Or perhaps he could have rotated a bit more during the first 6 games??

And to be honest, picking a 26 man squad without TTA, Palmer, Foden, Wharton and taking Henderson (FFS?!?!??! Need a cheerleader, put James fucking Corben in a tracksuit make him a coach!! Hell, take Buffy, he’s always good for a larff!!) should be a P45 offence!!

And, yes, I’ve always thought it was shameful when countries, any countries, don’t pick a “national” manager…. let along Engerland, we invented the sodding game!!

Anyway, on a slightly different note, the nipper talked me into the big game in Helsinki this weekend, the Mighty Wrexham Dragons against some Norffern Team…

From a Spuds fan, I’d snap you’re hand off for 50m for wee Lucas…

He’s basically an energizer bunny, with that mop of blonde hair standing out from a mile away so you never miss him, have got a great pair of lungs on him and certainly tries hard… but not a top 4 or even 6 player… he might come good in 3/4 years… and I think he’ll be great in a slower league… but I don’t think he has the “nauce” to play in the Prem… the Swedish Conner Gallagher!!

Now, Archie Grey… reckon there’s a England Captain in there…. just stay away from him please…

Shame about the Vuskovic lad leaving… although wasn’t that impressed with him during the World Cup, be interesting to see how he does at Brighton, by all accounts there’s a buy-back clause along with a 20% of future Sales clause too…

I find myself flirting between the 2 options (new or already watched)…. went through the “Mentalist” over Easter, “Peaky Blinders” after that… than a couple of “new” things (“Four Seasons” on NETFLIX wasn’t bad, wasn’t brilliant but watchable)…

Saving “GOT” and “Breaking Bad” for when I’m really bored!

Just got the complete “Ted Lasso” on DVD, but haven’t cracked that open, or Season 5 of “Yellowstone” (and Season 1 of the “1923” spin-off….)

But “The Bear” has caught my immediate attention… and the World Cup, obviously…

Nearly bought the “complete” Red-Dwarf box-set the other day (155 Euros!), with all the newer “made by Dave” episodes I’ve never seen… but didn’t hear good things about that… thought I would save my money.

Started watching “The Bear” on Disney… only 5 episodes in but enjoying that, by all accounts a very realistic impression of how a resturant really works in the real world… (okay, some of the “outside” plotlines are bit “hollywood”)….

Not too unhappy with our transfers so far, Wee Roobie & Sensai already signed, Savinho and Paulie highly likely to sign, and possible Heccke too…

Bit concerned about the CB’s, (rumors of other CB’s being looked at), I think we all know Cuti is off (and I’d pay for the taxi) but worried about Micky too, would like him to stay… the only thing I can think off is Zerbi wants to option to play with 3 at the back and/or Micky might be going LFB…leaving us with Micky, Robbie, Davies & Souza (in no particular order) covering the LCB/LFB side of the pitch, with Undogie going back to Italy…

Still want to see a proper striker bought in….
