Bingo, can’t speak for other countries mate, but this is the sort of thing that goes on here in England. Social Media etc amplifies the problem, but it’s also the mindset of the so-called fans and the sudden shift the moment there is a bad result or a performance. Fans turning on Tuchel.

I´m dumbfounded by how stupid it is, you get a medal, sure you make a few mistake but you get further than anyone other English side for a very long time and have put yourself up as one of the favorites for the Euros.
I get the disappointment against Argentina, I actually thought you had the game locked down until they finally scored and you might be able to fault the subs made but it´s one game.
You won against Mexico on their home turf in probably the toughest stadium in the world. You destroyed France now and people are complaining. I just don´t get it, if you lads had the same track record as Spain, France or Germany in the last decade I would maybe expect better but this was a good tournament for you.
I can see this bronze medal actually meaning something for some of the lads involved, I can see a few more wanting more than a bronze medal as well and if you keep the same squad intact with a few more additions and don´t just let players into the squad on name only that could happen at the Euros.
Like kicking Trent out and Foden proved out to be right. Players can´t just be popular on social media.

We destroyed a France team first half which in all honesty were on the beach wearing flip flops.
If you look at at statistically. You are right we did have a good tournament and finished in our highest position since 1966. However Sport, especially Football should never be just about statistics. The reason we are so peeved is because the big game when the pressure was on the manager who’s supposedly a tactical genius made the wrong call. It’s an opportunity lost to reach a final. Dare say we would probably of lost to Spain but we’ll never know._____________________________

it was 10 minutes of bad play, I´m sure as fuck he learned his lesson in that game. The thing is you don´t go from the quarter finals to being in the finals, it rarely happens. My top 4 made it, my top 8 made it. Spain is gonna win it.
It was a opportunity but you lost it because of inexperience! The squad itself is pretty young, the manager is in his first major final. I don´t think Tuchel will ever put on defensive subs and try to kill a game in a semi final again, I do believe you should have a English manager but that is beside the point.
Now on paper there is only one better squad in Europe. You can work with that…

Those last 20 minutes or whatever it was surely would feel like eternity. Shutting up shop turned out to be the wrong call. Of course, it’s easy now in hindsight for us to voice what should have been what. Being 2-0 up would have given us a breather.
Will be interesting to see how Spain set up this evening; Could be a cagey affair with fewer goals and extra time.

Not sure how you can say it’s lack of experience when that team has been semi-finals and Euro Final. Also take away the second half against Croatia and we haven’t played any prolonged decent football. Yes we’ve had fantastic results ie against Mexico. Where the team showed character.
Whilst I don’t think Tuchel should be sacked, the criticism he’s received I my eyes is justified.

It’s lack of experience Jordan Henderson was the most experienced player, he hardly made any effort except keeping up the standards.
Kane is probably not gonna be there next time, it means Bellingham will be captain and he gave up a personal achievement to Saka so Saka could get his hat trick.
It’s gestures like this that cement success in the future.

Not drastically, but the team has changed Diggybomb to what was played in the Euros. We had the experience of Kyle Walker and Kieron Trippier in defence.

Did England realistically expect to progress as far as the Semis? The experience thing missing was being under new Leader. Tuchel’s had less than 18 months which was the contract he signed, but it’s still of course plenty of time for him to get to know his onions. Could have been the experience lacking in Defence where we struggled.

In a word yes. Tuchel was brought in, he picked the squad. It’s a fine line. There was still plenty of experience in that squad!. It was Tuchel decision to include players like Henderson and Dan Burn to be glorified cheerleaders around camp. Which speaks volumes for the rest of the squad especially with Rice and Kane there.
Hypothetically if we had got to the final and who knows even won it. Yes we’d all be delighted but in the annals of time people would look back and say it wasn’t an outstanding team.
On the flip side you have France, who played the best football throughout the competition but one poor game against a quality side that punished them. It’s not how you start but how you finish. Something the German’s used to be good at.
Tuchel was brought in to get us over the line, let’s hope he can do in the Euros_____________________________

Tuchel made the wrong calls when it mattered the most and he should face the scrutiny that comes with it … Speaking of experience he chose the players leaving out certain experienced players behind so yes that’s on him too also that experience talk is just another excuse. Spain’s back4 is Porro, Cubarsi, LaPorte, Cucurella and they marshalled a strong French team.
The scrutiny aimed at Tuchel is justified. Also how can Saka play full 90Mins against France but couldn’t even get 10mins against Argentina; such decisions deserve to be scrutinized.

Thought I’d stay in this camp to chat about the final so far. It’s been a measured Cat-mouse. Nobody has parked any buses, nothing like that. I think there’s frustration in the atmosphere and probably coming more from Argentina as they are more DIRECT. They wanted to execute their movement on the counter, but have not been allowed to with Spain’s resistance.
Equally, Spain have tried to craft a goal with Tiki-Taka, but Argentina have been REPLIED.
Martinez being a bit of a menace in this first half and he’s been subbed rightly being on a Yellow.
