Fingers crossed for another good game from City. No major surprises in the line up. Sane probably a bit unlucky to get in the starting line-up. Foden not on bench but who do you drop? Difficult choices. Interesting to see how Gundogwan does today.

City not at their best today and the Wolves Keeper has made a couple of good saves too. Solves dangerous on the break and have pace. Mendy brilliant going forwards but a bit questionable defensively. I still fancy City to win it though providing they don’t get caught out on the break.

Fair assessment nine. Wolves a bit lucky on their goal. But until VAR comes in those issues will happen. City didnt quite click today but that happens. Mendy does look a bit suspect in defence and certainly wasn’t as good going forwards today. Not sure why Mahrez was brought on so late? But fair play to Wolves, well organised today.

Sorry Adlab, but with all due respect I have to dissagree a little bit. There were a few clever little fouls on Sterling in the first half but it’s rear that they are given. I think both Dave and Kun made the most of their penalty claims. The handball wasn’t obvious at first and Atkinson was knighted. It was even a hard call for the lino. Offside was easier to call. And even Ederson didnt claim handball. We did get plenty of other calls and many in dangerous areas. I think it was just one of those days in all fairness. Jim

If there was VAR what would have happened? No goal on TWO counts. The sooner we have it the better. Sorry Jim but I have no truck with 8 minutes Atkinson. Yet another shocking referee.

Oh don’t get me wrong Adlab, VAR would have definitely have ruled out that goal. But the PL authorities decided in their infinite wisdom that it wasn’t needed. It will be in next season I am sure. Jim
