I wonder if there is some sort of a ‘linked in’ for Football Managers so that they can be head-headhunted if available. Is there a dearth of good managers across England and Europe that only Konte’s name comes up?

No banjo I agree mate this seems to be a convenient short term arrangement for both spurs and conte. Title not expected by either and if he leaves end of next season with spurs back in CL then he done right by you and himself. Everyone wins in that scenario. If he git you top 4 this year then leaves in summer that’s a win win too

Lucky, Conte has a massive ego and because of that I think Conte will want to build a team to “try” and challenge for the title next season.
I agree I don’t think that it’s possible in reality for Spurs to challenge for the title next season given the competition but the operative word was “try” and I think his ego will make him want to try and that’s where the problems might begin if he doesn’t get what he wants to give him a chance to try and do that.
I agree though a top 4 result would be a success.

I agreed with that in summer nine but something changed and if he needs to be able to challenge for title but knows it not possible in next 18 months with spurs then signing 18 month contract with spurs makes no sense to me. Unless thoughts of title challenge are no longer a consideration and restoring spurs to champs league is now the remit, then it makes sense to me.

Be a great manager for most clubs. As hard as nails and takes no bullshit. For me Chelsea’s team now is like Chelsea’s team under conte. Well drilled and superbly organized with excellent attacking outlets
Absolutely hated playing Chelsea under conte.
Huge coup for spurs. Spurs have some really good players. Really think utd have missed out if he goes to spurs. Not done yet
Conte wins things. Only issue is he signs for the now. He bought fat to many over age players at inter but it brought him success

Nil, LinkedIn is a business related networking site that also let’s prospective employers check out prospective candidates by reviewing their CV’s on line.
All managerial prospects for top PL jobs are generally well known and don’t need tools like LinkedIn.
In respect of Conte he’s won the title at every Club he’s been at is currently not attached to a Club so there’s no compensation to pay therefore he’s attractive to any top Club looking to make a managerial change.
