I fancy Chelsea tomorrow but I haven’t seen much of city this season. Chelsea have been the best team this season in my opinion. So solid throughout the team. They have also had the toughest fixtures.
Brentford is very tricky for us. They re ins me so much of sheff utd two years ago when they first came up
I think arsenal will beat spurs and I can see Nuno going by Christmas

Rover..true enough, they do not come much tougher and all away from home, but if you want to do well that is what you have to get through. You can only play one team at a time so there will be no excuses from me. City are not playing bad but not up to speed and passing quality has dropped. Hopefully we can improve

I think Mendy will start today, but definitely no starts for Pulisic or Mount.
Few bodies for Man City on the sidelines that are 50-50, e.g. La Porte, so we shall see what Pep goes for.

Nil, Tuchel has already confirmed that Mendy will start and that Mount and Pulasic are out.
Looks to me like the majority of City’s injured players will start today but their squad is so strong they can cope with injuries anyway.
Great run of games for Liverpool currently and no matter who is out they will comfortably dispose of Brentford this evening imo.

I think Pep will be thinking he does not want to loose this game but he will be looking at Wednesday, if we loose at Chelsea it will be recoverable so early in the season but we do not want to loose in Paris. Messi, Neymar Mbappe and de Maria up front it will be tough. I would rather win at Chelsea and Liverpool than Paris though. We are lacking something at the moment, passing quality I think, when we get that right we will not be bothered about a striker. I am expecting a good game to day and hope there are no red cards, always a potential for that in a game like this, lets hope for good football, defensive and attacking

Nine, I was catching up mate and saw it as breaking news on the player injury list re Chelsea.
Yeah, Pep has depth, but he has to still cut his cloth accordingly and needs to pick a good strong 11.
I think Brentford will try and go gung-ho at us playing with no fear, so we need to keep our wits about us today.

Can’t see city getting through a chelsea team that has 8 defensive players starting. City need to score 1st as it be so difficult ti get through Chelsea
Hope it’s a good game
In no way saying it’s a defensive team from Chelsea as two excellent attacking full backs but it’s such a strong organized team.
We will see what city are made of today.

Looks like City are still going for it. But I think they seem to be forgetting, to use the anology of the three pigs, that Chelsea’s house is made from bricks. So they can huff & puff all they want, not sure it’s going to blow them down and they could well fall into the Chelsea trap…again.

Adlab, that’s exactly the Chelsea plan. They’re quite happy for you to have a lot of the ball and soak up the pressure, and then hit you on the counter. If I was Pep, I’d ease back a bit and try and draw Chelsea out.

As predicted by the more Knowledgeable this 3 man centre midfield plan hasn’t worked in the least bit, totally outplayed there, Mr. Tuchel you only use that strategy late in the game if necessary, bring on Harvetz for one of them at halftime.
