We have been a second half team turning around an adverse score. Even though we take that on board and of course we were at Anfield, you just never know. Luton are so direct, they get at you and have so much energy.

We were down to the bare bones with no prominent firepower so reliance was on Diaz and Gapko, but their hard efforts instead left us in frustration than anything to be encouraged for.

Something must have been spoken at half-time for sure. The first of our goals hoovered up as the crowd were mental.

We’re left buzzing going into Sunday’s final and fired up. If anything, really glad last night’s game took place rather than us having extra days off.

It’s not often you get to mention the word ‘Spurs’ and ‘title winners’ in the same sentence, especially once their ‘good start’ is all but a distant memory, but this year Spurs might play a big part on who becomes the title winners. At the end of April and the first week of May they play consecutively:

            City at home
            Arsenal at home
            Liverpool away

Could also have a major impact on 4th place. Poor as Utd were for the majority of the season they remained in touching distance and now look to finding a bit of form. With that late run for Spurs I fancy Utd to pip them.

Let’s hope Villa can maintain some form eh?!

Hang on Threeps, what? I was convinced Spurs won the league when they beat us 2-2 at Old Trafford a few weeks back. They even had more passes than us! The Spurs hype this season has been ridiculous, frankly. Spurs the title challengers are 2 points ahead of where they were at this point last season when Conte was tearing them to pieces for underachieving.

To avoid any knicker twisting, the above is not a dig at the Spurs fans but the media hype about their start.

Some of Spurs play has been good to watch, but some has been tactically poor. They made some good signings but I thnk have had a few injuries (not as much as us mind, we take the most injured team award this season!).

I think we all knew for a while the title would be between the current top 3 and I had 4th place between Spurs and Villa but Utd not far away now and have momentum.

Here’s the remaining games for the top 3:

Liverpool: Nottingham Forest (A), Manchester City (H), Everton (A), Brighton (H), Sheffield United (H), Manchester United (A), Crystal Palace (H), Fulham (A), West Ham (A), Tottenham (H), Aston Villa (A), Wolves (H)

City: Bournemouth (A), Manchester United (H), Liverpool (A), Brighton (A), Arsenal (H), Aston Villa (H), Crystal Palace (A), Luton Town (H), Tottenham (A), Nottingham Forest (A), Wolves (H), Fulham (A), West Ham (H)

                  Arsenal: Newcastle (H), Sheffield United (A), Brentford (H), Chelsea (H), Manchester City (A), Luton Town (H), Brighton (A), Aston Villa (H), Wolves (A), Tottenham (A), Bournemouth (H), Manchester United (A), Everton (H)

After this weekend City have a difficult run of 5 games. Have to say Liverpool have the slightly easier remaining games, just a shame we will probably need to play our U12s in a few of them!

They have played some decent stuff at times Threeps, I agree. The hype in the media though has been crazy and I don’t understand why.

I still think Utd look a bit too inconsistent to get 4th but we’ll see.
