Glad to see one or two key players back. KDB and Foden still injured. Stones not yet fit but it’s coming. 5-0 now. Pity we didn’t have a fuller team last week!

I saw about 30 mins of the leeds v everton match. was alright. Didnt see any of the City V Norwich match but I had 5-0 in mind before the game. Shame we have to wait for more but I need to catch up on sleep anyway :p
Delighted with the performance and result for us today. We’re a step closer to being considered a proper threat I think. Really glad to see the lads get another game in before Chelsea, as top level players might have an easier time with our defence. It’s more minutes for VVD and also I guess Tsimikas, if he is to start the next match. I mean, you wouldnt rule it out now. Maybe Klopp won’t be panicking over Robbo returning early now? Of course, a better team will expose Tsimikas better, same goes for Trent but going forward, theyw ere both really good today.
Salah is going to hit high form any day now. He was so unlucky not to come away with a goal.

Also, delighted for Ings. His move to Villa has gotten off to a great start. Apparently his goal today was a cracker. Villa may have lost a great player in Grealish but it looks like they’ve spent at least some of the money well! I have always rated Ings very highly though. he just didnt suit the way we played. More of a classic striker than what Klopp wants, with a false 9 , or inside forward.

A step in the right direction Adlab still with quality players to come back there’s a reason that City are favourites and with or without any more signings City will be in the mix for the title at the end of the season and anyone with ambitions of winning it will probably have to finish above them.

Kinda glad that City are not going to over-pay for Kane. Levy is being way too crafty in thinking he can get 150m. it’ll come back to bite him too, if City decide that he’s insulting thme with this carry on.
If I were Kane, I’d be going mental. 100m is a good fee for him. They should accept it and be glad that there is a team willing to pay that now because there won’t be next summer.

Mistra, are you being facetious? Grealish MoM? He did absolutely nothing noteworthy in the game apart from scoring a really flukey goal. Hell, if that is qualification for genius status then the league is full of them.

I also thought Grealish had a very good game even the commentators said so, he was doing nearly all the creating for City while he was on and City did win by 5. Ings is such an underated striker really should be playing for a top 4 club. Don’t underestimate Arsenal today they tend to do well against most top teams most times.

Ings is held back by 2 things:
1) His 2 massive injuries.
2) His failure to make it mat Liverpool.Both of them are more perceptive issues than real ones. The injuries were just bad luck. As I said before then, he didnt work out at Liverpool only because he didn’t fit into the system that Klopp plays. That’s all.
I still remember willing him to work there, as I have always thought he was a top striker. So pleased that things are working out as they should for him but you’re right, he should be playing for a CL side. I was thinking that when Spurs sold Kane, they’d get Ings in but Villa snapped him up pretty sharpish and honestly, well done to them. It’s one thing to get a big amount for a player, it’s another to spend that money well, especially when everyone knows how much you’ve added to your coffers.
Sometimes I still wake up screaming about how we wasted that Torres -> Chelsea money on Andy Carroll… Of course, we also signed Suarez that window but word was they wanted them to play together. Do we believe them? I dunno, toss a coin TBH.

River, arsenal are capable of pulling a good result out of the bag but they will need to be really at their best level even to draw with Chelsea. Is Kante fit? Chelsea’s most key player

Mak, I think ings is ideal for our number 8 role mate. Works very hard, presses , scores goals and links up the play. Problem was ge was being played out of position and could not get in the team cause of Bobby

Teams that have 3 or 4 easier type of games at the start have a great advantage for so many reasons. Somehow it doesn’t feel fair, I don’t know if the computer who creates the fixtures could possibly mix it up a bit according to seedings or any other way so it’s more even.
