He’s been without their star player for a while now, also being weak in some areas. He never had a chance really. I still think he should have done better though.

As I said on the other thread, a big problem for Rafa is that man management and the ability to really galvanise a dressing room are such important attributes in this era of the Premier league. And they’re not his strong points. Even so, I doubt even a real galvaniser could get that much more out of this group.

One player in particular who hasnt been the right fit for Rafa, or has just dropped off a cliff is Digne. He hasnt had a goal contribution yet this season. I dont really watch ever ton, so I dont know why that is but I can guess that Rafa is keeping him back too far to be useful.
That said, he had Riise bombing forward for us, so maybe it’s the player.

Mak, Rafa has been keeping Digne so far back he’s not even playing him.😊

Nine/mak, to be fair digne played 13 of 16 prem games this season but recently dropped and it is strange as he clearly one of Everton best players
Would snap him up for chelsea if we had a chance, he would be great at LWB for us in chilwells absence, which we fear could be for rest of season

Lucky seen a few pushing the Digne rumour tbh I’m not sure I would come if I was him because how much will he play once Chilwell is fitz be a good step up for him though playing under Tuchel for a top 4 Club.
