That is not the Dortmund philosophy. They sell when the big boys come calling because they offer insane amounts of money for their players but their primary goal is to topple Bayern. They have some of the best youth prospects in Europe coming through and a good first team with leaders already in place. Arsenal look like a small rowing boat drifting aimlessly out at sea with a small hole in it. Whoever takes that on has a big task to get them back where they want to be.

Agree on London being the better pull mind. Dortmund is like a bigger version of Derby. Functional, bland and any visit is easily forgettable!

To me Dortmund are the bigger attraction. They have a lot of their ducks in a row and are ambitious, I don’t get the same feeling from Arsenal. London is a massive factor of course but were I managing at the top level tomorrow and they both asked me, even with the PL, I think I would choose Dortmund, in fact I’m pretty certain of it now, the more I think of it. I might give them a call.

EDIT : I see you said it better than I did Threeps 😛

Yes I agree with that Ed although I think there are a few worse teams than Arsenal that are more likely to get relegated before Arsenal and even with their current problems I think Arsenal are in a bit of a false position in relationship to the squad they have.

You can keep changing the Chef but if you don’t give the Chef the right ingredients they will flounder no matter who it is.

Arsenal’s biggest problem is an ownership one imo because they’re not backing the Manager no matter who the Manager is.

One or two wins would move Arsenal up the table and would buy both Arteta and Arsenal a bit more time.

Gasperini,M.Rose of Mönchengladbach,J.Nagelsmann, ten Hag of Ajax, and Ralph Hasenhüttl of Saints, should be top of many teams list looking for a new manager.Even the manager of R.Sociedad,Imanol Alguacil Barrenetxea,is doing an amazing job, too.

At Arse,it seems there is a civil war going, more or less like with Utd and Pogba.
