I’ve not seen the incident, but I don’t think VAR can be used on yellow card incidents, hence no yellow card, for me though if it was a definite dive it should be a straight red, only way to stamp it out…..Pagan

Mikus, if I remember correctly in that WC, Ireland had a path to the final, oddly. I think the FAi were better at the political element than Keane, which really only shows them up worse in my opinion because it shines a light on their character.
keane just wanted to do as good as he could and was hindered along the way. It still makes me angry to this day and Im typing this after celebrating our 3rd goal hahah.

I actually thought that was a penalty at first but I see that salah fecking milked it. if he actually carried on playing, he may have been fouled but he sae the dive chance and went for it… so disgusted.

Fabinho a very good reader of the game. My main concern with him has always been his pace, but perhaps at CB without a very high line, that’s not as big a concern.

Nil, as regards Henderson, I have to say when Thiago has played for us (so far) the player he has most reminded me of in the team is Henderson. I think culturally such players are more admired on the continent.

hendo has found his way again. I think he had it in Rodgers title challenge and lost his way (his fault or not) but the last 2 years, he’s back to it. dont want to open any arguments but thats my opinion of him.
