Certainly one of the more unpredictable seasons for sure, 9 teams in Europe, 10 teams I think with new managers, and bottle caps flying all over the place… a lot of optimistic fans up and down the country!
Goonies vs Coventry…. home win
Hull vs YooUtd… away win
Ipswich vs Sunderland…. draw
Toffees vs Eagles… home win
Forest vs Leeds…. home win
Brenford vs Spuds… away win
115 vs Bournemouth.. draw
Seagulls vs Villians.. draw
Bone Saw vs Pool… away win
Fulham vs Chelsea… away winI think I’ll save my final season predictions until the window shuts…

21st August 2026 at 8:19 am #253563My Goodness, it’s actually back! I’ve got so used to the point of not having it and didn’t even bother with the Charity Shield last Weekend.
5 or 6 – 0 Breeze for the Gunners from their Opener Friday Night. Bruno and Declan Rice.
Definitely a high scoring game too at the KC Stadium Saturday Lunch Time with a 4-0 to Manchester United.
Spurs will be Super Improved this season I think and will surprise many.

21st August 2026 at 10:06 pm #253749Chucky I am giving every big club a bounce of 15 points, be it because of transfers or new managers.
I’m actually gonna predict a very good bounce for your lads, like 20-25 points.
Chelsea around 15-20.
I expect my lads to do the same.
The losers are Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Brighton.

22nd August 2026 at 1:20 pm #253837Don’t know if I can agree with that, Bingo, the biggest winners with regards to points will be Spuds, Chelski, and the Goonies in that order too…
Really don’t expect any of last years top 10 to increase theirs by much if at all… with the reasoning being not ever team can have the new manager bounce, they’d all level each other out… Pool, YooUtd, City, all about the same, Villa with lose, and all the rest of the teams who qualified for you Europe will drop points too…

22nd August 2026 at 2:26 pm #253900ItΒ΄s gonna be very hard for Arsenal to improve, if they do get Osimhen then they might run away from the rest of the pack.
Chelsea and Spurs are gonna improve but I donΒ΄t see either club improving by 25-30 points to get them back into the mix.

22nd August 2026 at 2:49 pm #253920Sean is world famous for being pessimistic about all things Liverpool, I reckon he was just trying to jinx Utd.

22nd August 2026 at 6:30 pm #253959Redknapp called it Total Football whatever that means. It was a Team goal and well worked. Crisp and Clean with the passing.
De Zerbi Animated. He needs to work on gelling his Team.

23rd August 2026 at 1:42 pm #254026Just seen on Sky a few moments ago footage of Pep’s documentary and dressing room experiences of his final two seasons. He will be dearly missed by City for Sure.
Clearly he dearly loves the club the way Jurgen Klopp loves Liverpool.
Life now not only without Pep, and Bernardo, but also Rodri.
For both Man City and Liverpool fans to have such Managers and Players, we really were blessed whilst the others were trying to rebuild and search for that winning formula.
