Have a wonderful feeling the same 20 managers this weekend won’t be starting week 8… but who’s it going to be??
Anyway, Week 8…
Cherries vs Fulham… Home win, Cherries just have too much!
Leed vs Spuds… seem to do better away from home these days (unless it’s Norway!), and it is against a newly promoted side, expect to see all our big-guns starting so away win… 😉
YooUtd vs Sunderland… got to be a home win, right??? RIGHT????
Goonies vs Wet Spam… got to be another home win, right? Perhaps an outside chance of 0-0.
Todgers vs Pool… Injury issues for the todgers, down to thier last 436 players, fancy an away win under current curcumstances.
Toffee vs Eagles… fancy a draw here.
Bone-Saws vs Angie-Balls-Up… Home win and P45?
Wolves vs Brighton… away win, Wolves hungover from nearly beating us last week!
Villa vs Burnley… reckin Villa have turned that corner, home win.
Bees vs 115… Away win.

Ange still has some credit in the bank, for one thing he’s Greek and Marinakis will have infinitely more patience for a Greek manager than he would for anyone else. Ange will last until December at least.
The big question is whether Amorim will last? If United lose to Sunderland then there’s a very real possibility that he’ll be fired._____________________________

Poor Angie has Bone-Saws (A), Todgers (H), Porto (H), Cherries (A), YooUtd (H)…(can’t wait for that one!), in his next five games… struggling to see a “banker” in any of those… really could go 11 games without a win… he’ll need more than being Greek to keep him in a job there, I reckon.
Reckon a lot depends on who else can be brought in too.
Graham “Not A Wizard” Potter and who else are on the market? Southgate? Really can’t think of any other “logical” choices, certainly not among the “English” contingent anyway.

Not liking this ref… every 50/50 is getting blown for Leeds and there’s been a couple of very convinvcing “he touched me, ref, honest” by the Leeds players…
Anyway, a half of missed chances from both sides… expect a few more goals and the ref to give Spuds a red before this is all over, just itching to whip it out…

The sort of game where Spudlovers will tell you they deserved it, Leeds fans reckon they desrved at least a draw, and both aren’t entirely wrong…
I think Frankie has sorted out his back 5, his mid-field with Benny/Paulie “holding” and Simons “playing”, Kudus has his spot secured for sure… the rest… still tinkering… still up for grabs!

Nice… my kid was at her friends house watching and was phoning everytime there was a goal….
Find it very weird not only being this high up the table, but being this high up the table while not actually playing that well and having a mis-firing strike force…. showing a lot of grit, but I think it’s going to get better when Richy isn’t our only option up top (although today was arguably Tel’s best in a Spuds shirt).

It’s a strange old season when all I said and done
It feels weak or is that because everyone is stronger?
I had to take my boy and my best mates boy to the game and see them in safe and wait in a a pub for them watching the live updates show 😂

Wouldn’t say it was a strange one.. first 6/7 are always a bit weird, everybody is introducing new players, 2 international breaks to miss things up, chuck in a few cup games and Europe, the bigger teams “rotating” on top of everything else…
Get to the end of October, give teams chance to “settle”… and YooUtd & Forest to get new managers! 😉
But the “middle” of the table has expanded I think, there are maybe 1 or 2 “decent” teams, 3/4 need to be worried about relegation teams and there will be about 15 points seperating the 15 or so teams come May.
