Last round of matches before another sodding international break…
No real “stand-out” matches but a lot of tasty matches.. .
Cheeries vs Devils… both teams could win this… certainly not 0-0…
Brighton vs Pool… both teams could win this too… but expect Pool to.
Fulham vs Burnley… pretty comfortable home win…
115 vs Palace… pretty comfortable home win…
Toffees vs 10.75 million fine for being naughty… again… probably a draw, the wheels are falling off in West London… thankfully!
Leeds vs Brentford… away win I think.
Up Norff Derby… think the black and whites will have enough, but hoping for fireworks!!
Villa vs West Ham… home win… (hopefully!)
Spuds vs Forest… nice big relegation 6 pointer… if we play like we did last night, score first and keep the fans on side, comfortable home win… a lot of if’s and but’s…

Sean, I’m very much in your camp mate. I remember Sergio Aguero Hat-trick Hero Match Attacks 🙂 There’s only a handful of individual players regardless of who they play for I would watch.
I still think matches like Real Madrid V Man City are Box Office because you know what to expect and how both will approach the game.
It’s all the fashionable low-block, falling over at any opportunity to buy a free kick, and try and crowd the box with the corners. The Offside Rule and VAR is Pants at the best of times in how they implement the rules. I see suspiciously lines manipulated to suit the explanation.
We were blessed with what we were served with years ago for years. Mane-Salah-Firmino Front 3 form once in a Lifetime or once in a while. Plus seasons where we finished on 97 and 92 Points will never be repeated. The standards have dropped from the Styles chosen and instructed by the Head Coaches or Managers.
Ticket Prices have maxed out Fans and many can’t afford this along with Transport and cost of Refreshments. Sky/TNT Subscription Prices High, Unauthorized streaming clamp down, Club Jerseys nearly £100 and a lot of this monies generated are in the hands of the Players with ridiculous Salaries; without going all Communists, this really is going through the roof along with the cost of living and energy price inflation. People just can’t afford it.

Spot on,waspy,and it makes it even worse considering the fact of just how much absolutely rubbish players cost! 72m£ for Mbeumo,close to 90m£ for Ekitike,80m£ for Marmoush,not to mention close to 100m£ Mudryk,who has completely vanished.Absolutely a rubbish league,and as you said it,being spanked in Europe!
Chelsea and City absolutely destroyed,humiliated after spending so much.Liverpool and Arsenal so boring,almost unwatchable!

I reckon there is only one world class striker in the league, then a Swedish idea version of him.
We got a few awesome number 10s in the league but most of them struggle.
It’s kinda like the league does not recruit footballers anymore, they recruit athletes.
I think its a lack of actual good managers, we kind a know that we only have one world class manager in the league right now.
It’s only Pep! Arteta, Slot, Emery, Rosenior, they are all mediocre. Slot is probably the worst of them all.
Slot has canceled everything good about Liverpool in 12 months now. I find it really strange that the highest wage bill in the league runs less than everyone else. Like I dont mind rewarding players that work hard but right now he rewards players for being static, drifting in space with no real drive.
One draw from any English club is enough in any Europe competition to secure 5 champions league teams next season. So I expect more of the same next season.

The amount Players cost now really is ludicrous and through the roof. They are not even Top Class let Alone World Class!! I’m seeing hardly anything. It’s the same when playing Fantasy Football. Not many Standouts!!!

nil every player still costs the same % as the first tv-contract with Sky provided. Like when Shearer left So´ton it was the same % as when Carrol left Newcastle. Then now you have Isak for 150 million or something and it´s the same % as when Shearer left Blackburn for Newcastle for 15 million. We just added another zero for inflation.
maverick, I don´t know, Pep got 40 trophies now as a manager, he has nine more to go to catch Ferguson. I think he will leave as soon as the 115 charges get dealt with.
